Hello, Mrn3, and welcome to Wikipedia. An article you recently created, Wheelchair Organizations, has been tagged for speedy deletion because its content is clearly written to promote a company, product, or service. This article may have been deleted by the time you see this message. Please keep in mind that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not an advertising service. Thank you. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Wheelchair Organizations. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:

  1. Place {{hangon}} on the page. Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag(s).
  2. Make your case on the article's talk page.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Veinor (ヴエノル(talk)) 22:32, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The fundamental issue that I have with this article is that it would need more than just a definition; this would probably be better suited as a category. Veinor (ヴエノル(talk)) 23:00, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re your msg on my talk page[edit]

Thanks for the message!

Well, let's see. Perhaps if you could turn the page into an encyclopedic article, explaining that there are some organizations who donate wheelchairs, and giving examples, you could save the page (there are no guarantees :). I think we'll just have to wait and see how it pans out. However, in the meantime, please continue editing! You might be able to make some encyclopedic contributions to Wheelchair, for example.

Welcome![edit]

a possibility[edit]

Look at my comment on your article's AfD page. It's the first one that starts with Strong Keep. If you can take any inspiration from that perspective, and flesh out the article to include that sort of information, this may result in your article being saved. No guarantees, but it's the best idea I can think of. — coelacan talk — 03:20, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also, if you intend to defend your article, you should copy and paste this: {{hangon}} to your article's page. — coelacan talk — 03:23, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on WikiContact, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on Talk:WikiContact. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Thanks. Drat (Talk) 01:54, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image:WikiContact_Logo.png listed for deletion[edit]

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:WikiContact_Logo.png, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. A tag has been placed on Comparison of Variable Annuity Products, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Victao lopes (talk) 23:38, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have deleted this page since the majority of its contents are directly copied from [1]. That page is copyrighted and you should never copy material from a copyrighted source to Wikipedia. Please see WP:COPY for more information. In addition, the material you are adding is not appropriate for a Wikipedia article, I'm afraid. One company's evaluation of a small number of annuity products does not comply with our policy on maintaining a neutral point of view and is also so US-centric that it isn't helpful for an international encyclopedia. Thanks for understanding, Gwernol 23:45, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing inappropriate pages, such as File:Warhol lisa.jpg, is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 01:22, 16 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
