Assamese /z/[edit]

Hi, I have seen you are making changes to /z/, and using /j/ and /jh/. I know that /jh/ is some dialects and it might be influencing the standard colloquial as well. But let us wait for the phoneme to be reported before we insert it here. I think it is best to follow [1]. Chaipau (talk) 14:19, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Chaipau: Yeah, I wasn't sure if I should add it or not. That's why I asked about it on the talk page and mentioned you there. But, I didn't get response from anyone. So, I thought I should add it anyway as other editors can revert it if that's not completely correct. Why I did that because those sounds are quite common and sometimes people even alter the sounds. For example some people (or in some dialects) may use /z/ for জ and /j/ for য. If you think that's not necessary to add those additional sounds, I (or you) can remove it. What do you say? @Mohsin274: Yes. Getting it in alignment with Mahanta is possibly the safest. If you could update that would be awesome! Thanks. Chaipau (talk) 17:23, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Chaipau: Okay, I'll do it. But, do you think there is any possibility that those sounds will added in future? Mohsin274 (talk) 17:38, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Mohsin274: Yes, as soon as they are reported in some WP:RS. Chaipau (talk) 17:41, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Chaipau: Okay, I get it. Thanks. Mohsin274 (talk) 17:44, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
