Fresh water[edit]

I have replied to your queries at Talk:Fresh water but in writing that I had not realised that you have been assigned (chosen) this topic as part of your degree. My comment may therefore seem a little acerbic - apologies for that. As a now retired Environmental Scientist, I spent all my working life in both the operational side and the regulatory side of the Water Industry in the UK. Not quite Canada, but water is much the same throughout the world. It does slightly amaze me however that ,studying in Canada which is famously covered in lakes, that you write of fresh-water running out? I am sure there must be a good answer to that. Regardless, I would be happy to help in any way if that is any use to you. Regards  Velella  Velella Talk   20:14, 7 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I note the fate of your recent edits. Please bear in mind my comments at Talk:Fresh water. It might be prudent to use your sandbox to draft out additions but the critical thing is to find and quote reliable and robust references for every potentially contentious statement made. Without citations, most of your edits may end up being binned by other editors. Regards  Velella  Velella Talk   17:03, 13 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
