When you post anything here, you should first log into your account as MediaKarlama. If you want to keep the one titled: Draft:Ahmad Al Khatib أحمد الخطيب, you will need to improve it according to the comments posted at the top of it. I have added Reliable sources & referencing to the one titled: Draft:Ahmad Al Khatib أحمد الخطيب and resubmitted it, hopefully it will be accepted :)

You cannot delete your own sandbox, User:Mediakarlama/sandbox, but you can edit it and remove all the text, although even that is not necessary, as it is your own personal scratchpad. Please see Help:My sandbox.—Anita5192 (talk) 18:08, 5 June 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Draft:Ahmad Al Khatib

The page Draft:Ahmad Al Khatib has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appeared to be a direct copy from https://ahmadalkhatibmusic.com/about and https://www.popakademie.de/en/studium/weltmusik-ba/dozierende/ahmad-al-khatib/u/174/. Hi, thanks for the above information.

Please note that I have created the information available on ahmadalkhatibmusic.com as I am the creator and the owner of the mentioned website, the website was made for my friend the musician artist Ahmad Al Khatib.

as for the https://www.popakademie.de site, it is one of the music academies that Ahmad Al Khatib teaches at, and the reason the sentences are the same is that it is the same portfolio created for Ahmad Al Khatib that we usually share with universities/music festivals and other music-related events that Ahmad Al Khatib participate in.

As this is my first article I am still learning and trying my best to meet the requirements and Wikipedia standards to make an article that will be acceptable and published.

can you please advise me what is the best and quickest thing to do in this situation, as I understand, the page is now deleted, shall I "donate material" or it would be quicker to go ahead and re-create the page after paraphrasing the content?

I have created a new draft, Draft:Ahmad Al Khatib, where I have re-written all the paragraphs. I have clicked on Publish. I guess it is now submitted, right?

Thanks for the comments

Before submitting the article I got comments from other reviewers and I re-write the article and added reliable sources using the citation tool provided, And has got it reviewed on the 8th of June by Diannaa, (please check the comments above), where I was advised that the draft of the article looks okay from a copyright point of view and that it is ready to be submitted.

The sources I have are reliable, it is from the website of the Universities where Ahmad Al Khatib works, The Academy of Music and Drama at the University of Gothenburg (https://www.gu.se/en/about/find-staff/ahmadal-khatib)

and the Pop Academy at the University of Mannheim (https://www.popakademie.de/en/studium/weltmusik-ba/dozierende/ahmad-al-khatib/u/174/),

Also a well-known organization The Aga Khan Music Program (https://the.akdn/en/how-we-work/our-agencies/aga-khan-trust-culture/akma/ahmad-al-khatib).

Also from a website that contains artist information which is supported by the Arab World Institute in Paris.

Adding to that, the official website of the artist himself (https://ahmadalkhatibmusic.com), and my personal connection with the artist as well.

I have updated the sources for date of birth, awards, discography, and books.

As for the WP:COI I am assuring that there is no Conflict of interest and that this person "Ahmad Al Khatib" is a musician who has many achievements and participation in music, artistically and academically, on international and European levels, Adding an article about him to Wikipedia will enrich the information.
