Unspecified source for Image:GubbioMadonna.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:GubbioMadonna.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 15:46, 15 April 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MECUtalk 15:46, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Some little things[edit]

Ciao... Just some little advices about your useful additions in Pompeo Batoni. I removed the statement that "he is considered by some" as it has a vague tone, and also is not supported by any source. See Wikipedia:POV to read more. Also a phrase "the story says that..." is not so nice to be read on an encyclopedia. Try to use a more sober toner (such as I did, simply removing this introduction). Ciao and good work!! --'''Attilios''' (talk) 20:14, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Edmund Vivian Gabriel[edit]

Hello Mark Troedson,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Edmund Vivian Gabriel for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Makro (talk) 19:49, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Status and Advice[edit]

it was not deleted, but you can avoid problems like this by never leaving an article in such an incomplete state. If you feel you need to save it after the first sentence, at least add an
tag at the top.
Incidentally, some of your other contributions still have problems with inadequate sourcing for value judgements. These judgements may be in the references sources you use, but they need to be specifically cited. Some of the other WPs do not source such statements, assuming that they are in the general sources used, but it is essential to cite in more detail on the enWP. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Gianluca Vacchi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Notice

The file File:Nicolo Gabrielli.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:02, 31 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
