SuggestBot picks the articles you might be interested in based on the articles you've edited and using a number of different techniques: following links from them to other articles, matching articles based on their content, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedia users. It tries to recommend only articles that others have marked as needing work, such as stub articles that need to be made longer, clean-up articles that need writing help, and so on. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.

If you choose to participate we encourage you to leave feedback on these suggestions, which you can most easily do here by editing your user talk page. We'll stop by later to read them.

Disambiguation link notification for December 14[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of radio stations in Asia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tibetan language. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. YouTube sources[edit]

Hi there and happy 2017. I noticed that you've added several YouTube sources to CMLL championship articles. Problem is that you're posting links to accounts that do not own the copyright for the video they are displaying. For CMLL related info they should only be sourced to the offical CMLL account, not random, copyright violating accounts. The articles you are adding them to are "Good Articles" and thus the sources need to be stand up to scrutiny and be appropriate. I hope you understand.  MPJ-DK  01:24, 1 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. Well, first of all, i added the youtube links because in those youtube links appear the names of the TV Show that CMLL Show or match was broadcasted (Similar to Lucha Underground Championships style), you won't find a official CMLL that owns the copyright unless it's a pretty recent show like the youtube streamed live events, second those "good articles" weren't so good it seems as many of them were missing latest info and champions, Third Happy New Year :) Marcos 2007 (talk) 04:10, 1 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Ah I see, so it is okay to link to a copyright violation if you throw it a jab at article quality. Unless the name was shown on the actual video then those links are even more pointless, I could post a video called "Marcos 2007 thinks one article qualifies as many", that does not mean it should be used as a reliable source.  MPJ-DK  04:17, 1 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Well, you will find many more info on the unofficial sources rather than the official ones, i focus on the info available as many of them appear as house shows when many of them weren't and were actually broadcast on TV, if you feel you are the owner of "good CMLL Articles" you should edit them better ;), i will add more official sources if i found any of them. Marcos 2007 (talk) 04:49, 1 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Ah yes of course another shot, this time a personal one, thank you.  MPJ-DK  05:17, 1 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Oh really?? because i read your wiki page it's so personal, OMG. Well, i will add more "reliable" sources on CMLL Articles now if i find them :) Marcos 2007 (talk) 05:26, 1 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Also, the event in the title history refers to the name of the event, not the name of the TV show it is broadcast on, I understand that for a lot of shows they are the same. But CMLL bills their weekly show as Sabados De Coliseo, so in actuality that should be the name listed in the table.  MPJ-DK  04:22, 1 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
oh ok thanks Marcos 2007 (talk) 04:48, 1 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
