COI[edit]

Information icon Hello, Manamaris. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Mateus Soares de Azevedo, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 20:00, 15 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Horse Eye's Back, I don't personally know Azevedo but I am in contact with him through email. As I appreciate a certain number of his ideas, I proposed him to rewrite his page which had been deleted with reason. I don't think it is promotional. I receive no compensation for this work. When time permits, I shall review carefully your deletions and might have to question you about some of them. Regards, --Manamaris (talk) 10:08, 16 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If you two are coordinating then you do in fact have a conflict of interest. COI isn't limited to being compensated. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 13:50, 16 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with @Horse Eye's Back here. Email correspondence makes an editor conflicted, full stop. Please declare you COI, @ManamarisManamaris]]. Thank you.-- Quisqualis (talk) 21:53, 20 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Quisqualis, where should I declare it? And why should I declare it, given that you have done so? --Manamaris (talk) 08:55, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest#How_to_disclose_a_COI has the instructions. Given that the requirement is that a template be posted, and I am busy, you should do it yourself.-- Quisqualis (talk) 18:36, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Mateus Soares de Azevedo moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Mateus Soares de Azevedo, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
