Proposed name change[edit]

In reply to your comment on my talk page, you put the request in 'uncontroversial technical requests'. What you are asking for isn't a technical request and would fall into the realm of needing sources to suggest that what you are saying is correct.   Kadzi  (talk) 21:49, 25 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there thank you for your comment. I read the entire guide and felt it fell under there. Obviously, I am no expert and therefore your advice is greatly appreciated. The name is one that doesn't exist for the group (I work with the company directly) and they would like to get it changed. I already shared the official website. What other ways would be best to prove this fact, please? Thank you.Mahmouddigitalink (talk) 21:53, 25 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, Mahmouddigitalink. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.

Hello! Thank you for letting me know. I did disclose above, and obviously have no issue with stating this fact. I can assure you, however, that I will in no way post anything that's promotional or an exaggeration. I am just here to post based on facts of the company as the page has not been updated in some time. Any proposed edits will have relevant sources. Thank you once again!
