Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Category:Lists of Registered Historic Places by state. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Your "grammatical corrections" do not comply with Wikipedia's Manual of Style and they had the effect of removing valid categories and replacing them with dysfunctional redlinks. Furthermore, altering my category move proposal is disruptive to the process. If you don't like the proposal, comment at WP:CfD; don't alter the template on the category. --Orlady (talk) 16:22, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

Orlady

Today I have encountered Orlady. As shown above, she has left two notices to me, and reported me in another section as a 'sockpuppet'. I can only deduce that she is doing so because I have tweaked a couple of her projects. As I invite other editors to see, my tweaks were very minor and involved punctuation and grammar. In one case, I saw that she had summarily removed a photo from a particular posting because she apparently didn't like the original contributor. As I said, if she wishes to do so, she should prove that it is a copyrighted photo. I saw no allegations of this: Therefore, the picture should remain. It seems as if this is a situation in which newcomers aren't welcomed under any circumstances. Of course it could merely be that Orlady feels as if things aren't going her way. I am not sure why she perceives such minor contributions as threatening. MagdaOakewoman (talk) 23:54, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

YONKINATOR- WOW! Thank you so very much! I really appreciate the pat on the back after the initial hostile reception. That had me sweating a little, frankly. I don't have anything additional at this time for THAT article, but I would love your weigh-in on my discussion at the bottom of the discussion page in the Vagina Monologues. HIYA. I thought I would sent a message your way since I share your frustrations and concerns. I was gonna register anyway to upload some photos etc. but was sidetracked by this nonsense instead. I made several comments on the sockpuppet project page expressing my confusion over all the hooplah if you want to look. Just so you know, I was also brought into the fold unwillingly and from that point moving forward I have been frustrated by this situation. I am not the banned user who is the foundation for all these latter claims etc., and therefore don't understand how I was ever 'punished' to begin with. What I have added to the site is legitimate and none of my contributions have ever been vandalism, impolite to others or against site policy so I therefore don't understand why that is not taken into account whatsoever. YONK, Thank goodness. It's weird to feel as if you've wandered onto a rugby field and everyone suddenly piles on top of you! Pretty unnerving... AND confusing. BTW, I added another note/question to the Vagina Monologues discussion. Let me know what you think.
