Thanks! Can I improve #REDIRECT wheelchair soccer in any way?{{helpme}} MJ Digs 03:16, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes you can! So long as you have reliable sources and verification of facts. Miranda 03:23, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was there. I've played for years and know the rules. Does that count? I've tried to make sure that my article is factual and unbiased. I have attempted to base my article on written rules of the game, as well. {{helpme}}MJ Digs 03:45, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Firstly, you said "my article" in your statement above. You may want to read up on ownership of articles. Secondly, your question as to whether it is a valid source. Have a read of citing sources and that may answer your question. As always, I'm glad to help you at any time, by leaving a note on my talk page or by using the {{helpme}} tag to get attention of another user. Happy editing! — E talkbots 05:17, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Question (moved from user page)[edit]

hi--MJ Digs 11:13, 11 November 2007 (UTC) {{help me}} how do I make a good user page?[reply]

Depends. If you're talking about layout, you can "steal" ideas from other userpages (ideally giving due credit to the user who originally invented that style). A good starting point with many examples etc. is User Page Design Center (an introduction is found at Wikipedia:User Page Design Center/Introduction). — Dorftrottel 11:42, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Content-wise, it's generally good to provide some background about yourself (but be careful not to include too much too private info!) and/or your approach to Wikipedia as an encyclopedia. Many also use their userpage to include a list of articles they have created or worked on, or other areas of interest. — Dorftrottel 11:57, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}}MJ Digs (talk) 23:20, 19 November 2007 (UTC) I like to play synth, which I put on my user page. What's the best way to contact the other synthesiser players on Wikipedia? Thanks![reply]

Well, using that infobox, and others like it, automatically puts you in a category called Category:Wikipedian keyboardists. You can click that and you will get a list of other users who have the similar interest. - Rjd0060 (talk) 23:51, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}}

I was hoping that a Wikipedian synthesiser player would be able to help. I'm having trouble layering multiple voices on my MicroKorg.

I have read the manual.

Could someone please help?

I am talking about using two, distinct sounds from different banks or programs, then combining/layering them to create something unique?

I've heard it done - it's possible. It's to do with using and combining two timbres; then, writing a new program. How, though?

Instructions would be cool, thanks. MJ Digs (talk) 04:30, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. As far as I am aware, the help me template is for asking for help on wikipedia related things. You could try contacting a few people in the category mentioned above, or try a forum for keyboardists on the Internet? Sorry I could not have been of more help, Tiddly-Tom 07:15, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I moved \sandbox to your userspace at User:MJ Digs/\sandbox and requested \sandbox which you probably created erroneously to be speedied as a housekeeping task (WP:CSD#G6). I dorftrotteltalk I 06:14, December 11, 2007

Speedy deletion of Created Userboxes[edit]

A tag has been placed on Created Userboxes requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. KCinDC (talk) 06:06, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe you wanted to put that page at something like User:MJ Digs/Created Userboxes? —KCinDC (talk) 06:09, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
