Image uploads[edit]

Hello Lydia.

I noticed that you uploaded some images from the article "Origin and tectonic significance of the Huangling massif within the Yangtze craton, South China" by Wenbin Ji et al, and that you claimed it had a Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International license. Did Wenbin Ji actually grant this license, and if so where is the evidence? If you just copied the images from the paper we will have to get them deleted. You may have to draw these maps yourself. I know it is a lot of work. If you do make them again I suggest that you use colour. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 09:44, 19 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Huangling Complex[edit]

On 8 January 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Huangling Complex, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that dikes in the Huangling Complex show that Australia was adjacent to the South China Craton prior to 825 million years ago? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Huangling Complex. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Huangling Complex), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
