Welcome![edit]

Hello, Ljqianl, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Article problems[edit]

Your additions to the Indigenous rights to land along rivers article include passages copied verbatim or nearly verbatim from a non-free source. This was detected by automatic plagiarism detection software. Unfortunately, for copyright reasons, your entire contribution has to be deleted. Please review the Plagiarism and Copyright training module before proceeding further. Thanks. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 15:18, 13 April 2017 (UTC) @Ian: Thanks! Ian. I think that is because I direct quoted from some resource. I would like to know If I would like to directly quote, how should I do to avoid the judgment of plagiarism or it would be better to change to my own words? Because that section is about the policy and management and I am afraid of inappropriate translation. Thanks. Ljqianl (talk) 15:48, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
