Hi, Two points I Did not mention on my user page. One- Thirty eight years ago as a young American, I spent the summer in Germany. I stayed for some at the home of an ex SS man who was imprisoned by the US occupation authorities after the war for crimes in Poland. He was the uncle of my best friend in the US. When I got back home in the US , my dad an ex GI born in the USA, remarked " I don't believe my father came from a country with people like that", after I told him of the Wola massacre. Two- A few years later a became friends with a German Jew who survived Auschwitz. He lost his entire family in the camps. He was a witness at the Frankfurt Auschwitz Trials.--Woogie10w (talk) 10:16, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I spent part of the summer of 1998 in Germany as well, in the Munich municipality. It was a wonderful experience, and Germany was a lovely country. I did visit a labor camp, however. Thank you for commenting on my talk page, and I hope you are not offended because I used some of your userboxes to express my own views. LeobenConoy (talk) 22:29, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
