Disambiguation link notification for October 28

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2015–16 PSV Eindhoven season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Héctor Moreno. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Rollback

I have granted the "rollbacker" permission to your account. After a review of some of your contributions, I believe you can be trusted to use rollback for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, contact me and I will remove it. Good luck and thanks. – Gilliam (talk) 18:38, 2 December 2015 (UTC)

Paul Wahlberg

Hi I just wanted to begin a page for Paul and I know for a fact that he is an actor and chef and more Patrickallen15 (talk) 18:20, 3 December 2015 (UTC)

@Patrickallen15: Thanks for helping! The page Paul Wahlberg redirects to the page Wahlburgers, which already includes that information. I reverted your edit because the article wouldn't have been very useful that way, but if you'd like to make a more complete article about Paul Wahlberg, please feel free to do so.

Bugil High School erase issue

The official name of Bugil High School is actually Bugil Academy, so I pasted it onto the Bugil Academy page and I'm trying to redirect it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HumanitasOne (talkcontribs) 16:27, 6 December 2015 (UTC)

@HumanitasOne: Ah, I see. It looked like you just randomly deleted the entire article there. It's probably easier to change the title of the article by moving the page (for more information see Wikipedia:Moving a page).Kinetic37 (talk) 16:40, 6 December 2015 (UTC)
@HumanitasOne: Looking at the history of the page, it seems like someone has already moved it from Bugil Academy to Bugil High School before, so I wouldn't move the page before someone answers you on the article's talk page.Kinetic37 (talk) 16:40, 6 December 2015 (UTC)
@Kinetic37: Thanks for all the help Kinetic37, but As this link shows, the name is officially Bugil Academy, but I did put up a talk just to be sure, should I still wait for someone?
@HumanitasOne: It seems that you can't move a page to an article that already exists, (see here). You could request a move here, or you could wait to see if someone replies on the article's talk page and explains why the title is 'Bugil High School' instead of 'Bugil Academy'. I'm sorry this all ends up being a rather complicated process, but I don't really know how else to solve it :/ Kinetic37 (talk) 17:03, 6 December 2015 (UTC)

I am so very sorry Kinetic37. It was a mistake. The Beagle article is a model of a wikipedia article on an important and interesting subject. CSD'ing new users draft

I really do appreciate you welcoming the new user who wrote this and I appreciate that it did need to be moved from article space - but could you please consider letting them know next time what was wrong? They're a brand new editor who was only given 11 minutes between making their first edit and having a CSD notice plastered on their Talk Page. I've moved it to their sandbox and let them know they can edit but maybe AFC is their best bet - but if I was a new editor that would scare me off for good. WP:AGF says they're probably here to positively contribute. PanydThe muffin is not subtle 13:52, 5 August 2016 (UTC)

@Panyd: You're right, I probably was a bit too enthusiastic with the deletion notice there. My apologies, and I'll try to handle such things better in the future. Kinetic37 (talk) 13:57, 5 August 2016 (UTC)

Top Model deletions

That's actually a long-term vandal that hops from IP to IP. I've reported them to AIV, but I wanted to give you a heads up. When you see this again from another IP, report them to AIV right away. Thanks for your help in reverting! RickinBaltimore (talk)

@RickinBaltimore: Will keep this in mind, thanks for the heads up. Kinetic37 (talk) 14:43, 5 August 2016 (UTC)

Thanks - I thought I'd clicked to stop it from making any change except for the space and comma. Thanks for fixing my error. ☕ Antiqueight haver 12:32, 25 September 2016 (UTC)

@Antiqueight: No worries, I figured it would have been accidental. I'll add the comma back actually, it does look better that way :) Kinetic37 (talk) 12:35, 25 September 2016 (UTC)

Aqua Pura

Hi Kinetic37

Re Aqua Pura - was trying to revert the vandalism to the article made by ealier user. I should have just reverted it to the last decent version rather than trying to undo each of the changes individually. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.159.40.134 (talk) 10:52, 6 October 2016 (UTC)

@81.159.40.134: Right, I see what happened. Don't worry, the article is fine now :)

RE: Frenkie de Jong

Hi Kinetic, sorry for the inconvenience! He does have a little while left as an Ajax player, but as far as I'm concerned Ajax do not have any games scheduled until then. I thought keeping him as part of Ajax would be slightly useless, and so have done the change. Thanks for letting me know, though! I'm relatively new here, so I guess it's a thing I'll have to get used to :) Best regards! --Liron Mets (talk) 16:15, 29 May 2019 (UTC)

@Liron Mets:: Don't worry, it wasn't inconvenient. Once he does officially make the transfer the article will be updated and until then it's probably better to list him still at Ajax in my opinion, even if it doesn't make a huge difference. And welcome to Wikipedia! Kinetic37 (talk) 17:22, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
@Kinetic37:: Thank you! :) Liron Mets (talk) 17:29, 29 May 2019 (UTC)

Frenkie De Jong

Hi, I've noticed you've added details regarding his transfer to Barca, the player is still under contract with Ajax until July 1st, only change information about a players transfer or a squad number with a source.

Best regards! --User:Matthew Chappell 22:56, 12 June 2019 (UTC) Matthew Chappell (talk) 21:56, 12 June 2019 (UTC)

@Matthew Chappell:: Actually what I did was revert an IP editor who had changed his current club to Kerala Blasters FC which is obviously wrong in any case. But yeah, I should have paid more attention there (especially considering this from two weeks ago...). Kinetic37 (talk) 15:50, 13 June 2019 (UTC)
@Kinetic37:: No problem, Thanks Matthew Chappell (talk) 17:29, 14 June 2019 (UTC)

Post removed.

Hi Kinetic37. Thankyou for your response. I wish to point out that what I said was not an opinions, but was infact truth. I belive if you go & do some in-depth research, maybe try and track down the family of the British services men who did turn there backs on her at the airport. You will see that what I have said about, Vivian Bullwinkelour was infact the truth about her. I look forward to hearing from you after you have checked these facts. 111.217.48.20

I noticed you posted a message on 111.217.48.20's talk page about his removal of content. I do not know how to contact adminstrators, but he has severely vandalised countless of other articles, like blanking entire pages, mainly other user's sandboxes, which is probably why he has not been blocked yet as almost no one reads other people's sandboxes, so he has evaded the block. As I said I don't know the appropriate place to contact adminstrators about this issue, but maybe you do. I just wanted to alert you of this. Lochglasgowstrathyre (talk) 12:03, 9 October 2019 (UTC)

@Lochglasgowstrathyre: Thanks for pointing this out to me. I am not an administrator myself but I will bring this up at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents, because this is very odd behavior from this IP editor. Kinetic37 (talk) 13:59, 9 October 2019 (UTC)

Neon tetra

I am very sorry to say that when you deleted my change on the Neon Tetra page I think this was highly unfair. What I said was truth and I do not think that it was fair to revert the change. Please change it back or I may tweet something nasty. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dave32123432 (talkcontribs) 13:48, 15 October 2019 (UTC)

@Dave32123432:: I initially reverted your edit because another editor had vandalised the article before you and I attempted to undo that. I am sorry about this mix-up. Regardless, I don't believe your edit was an improvement to this article as it doesn't fit the tone of an encyclopedia. Therefore I think it is likely that someone else will delete it again if you add it back. kinetic37 • (t | c) 13:57, 15 October 2019 (UTC)

That is fine. I thank you for your humble apology. I will try and keep to the tone of the encyclopedia in future. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dave32123432 (talkcontribs) 14:06, 15 October 2019 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2019 Amstel Gold Race, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Michael Matthews (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

StrawberryFrog

Hello,

I recently updated the StrawberryFrog wiki page and noticed it was removed for promotional content. Could you please specify how it was phrased that made it promotional? I would like to add notable work that StrawberryFrog has recently made and include a large milestone from one of their clients.

Thank you, -H — Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.106.220.234 (talk) 21:41, 7 November 2019 (UTC)

Hello! Your edit seemed to me like it was intended to promote StrawberryFrog. Looking at your addition, it's mostly the phrase "Their approach was appealingly simple..." – it shouldn't be Wikipedia's place to tell readers what is and isn't 'appealing'. I would also say that phrases like "ignite momentum" and "make real change" come across like vague ad-speak. More generally, your additions only painted StrawberryFrog in a positive light compared to other marketing agencies.
I would recommend reading Wikipedia:Neutral point of view and WP:PUFFERY to get a better idea of what is and isn't acceptable. kinetic37talk 22:30, 7 November 2019 (UTC)
