Unprotected

Thanks for brining these to my attention. I agree indef is in many cases excessive, especially when the articles in question are in obvious need of improvement. GA and FA articles that are vandal targets I would be more hesitant to unprotect because they have already reached a level of quality that will satisfy our readers.– Gilliam (talk) 00:56, 28 April 2015 (UTC)

@Gilliam: While I thank you for doing them, I want to hear your feedback on how I'm setting it up, do you think this is a good way to go about it? Is my criteria good in general? I'll be sure to note that with FAs and GAs. Thanks! Kharkiv07Talk 01:07, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
I appreciate the list because I don't usually pay much attention to the protection status of pages. You can keep me informed of any updates.– Gilliam (talk) 01:16, 28 April 2015 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Fort Wayne, Indiana

The article Fort Wayne, Indiana you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needing to be addressed. If these are fixed within 7 days, the article will pass; otherwise it may fail. See Talk:Fort Wayne, Indiana for things which need to be addressed. A message from Darnellgill

why did you revert my edit before it was finished Darnellgill (talk) 21:50, 3 May 2015 (UTC)

Your edit was very clearly vandalism, if not a personal attack. I advise you to cease and desist immediately, and try to contribute to the encyclopedia positively. Kharkiv07Talk 21:54, 3 May 2015 (UTC)

Your edit on User:HackedBotato

Hi there, I notice you reverted an edit on my userpage. The user who edited it (User:DweltGraph) wanted to experiment and I allowed him to do so. Sorry for the inconvienience! ~HackedBotato Chat with meContribs 11:58, 5 May 2015 (UTC)

I struck the warning, sorry about that HackedBotato! Kharkiv07Talk 12:57, 5 May 2015 (UTC)
It's okay! My fault, should have let him experiment in the sandbox :P ~HackedBotato Chat with meContribs 13:46, 5 May 2015 (UTC)

Some opposers of this move have now contended that there is a "Critical fault in proposal evidence", which brings the opinions expressed into question. Please indicate if this assertion in any way affects your position with respect to the proposed move. Cheers! bd2412 T 04:37, 8 May 2015 (UTC)

Mistaken Identity

This is a little strange... I saw that you left two templates related to a declined AfC submission you apparently thought I made, on my talk page. However, I've never made a submission at Articles for Creation. I'm assuming you got me mixed up with someone else. I'm a helper on IRC, and regularly deal with AfC submissions, so it's possible I may have placed a submission template on the article per the creator's request. I've done this on occasion on behalf of new users who aren't familiar with the AfC process or editing in general. However, I always indicate this in my edit summary when submitting, so the reviewer is aware. It's perfectly fine, but you might want to be a bit more diligent in the future. Thought I would give you a heads up, so that you can inform the actual author. Quinto Simmaco (talk) 13:32, 9 May 2015 (UTC)

With this edit you submitted it under your own name, and when the article's for creation helper script saw that, it automatically sent them to your talk page. It's a completely automated process once I reject/approve/comment, and as the submitter it decided you should be informed. Sorry about that! Kharkiv07Talk 16:13, 9 May 2015 (UTC)
I suspected as much. I got another one today (from Mdann), and as he knows me, I figured the Helper Script was simply sending it to the editor who placed the template. No worries. The Helper Script, useful as it is, does have some kinks to be worked out, as I'm often told. This was more to just give you a heads up so that you could inform the appropriate party. A message from Somatique

Hi. My colleague and I buffed up the page I submitted on Draft:Nautilus (science magazine). Specifically, we removed some of the arguably promotional material from the lead/introductory section. You previously said that it was really close to being publishable, so I hope this will push it over the line. Somatique (talk) 00:37, 14 May 2015 (UTC)

Review completed. Cheers! 7&6=thirteen () 12:44, 16 May 2015 (UTC)

08:52:48, 19 May 2015 review of submission by 81.220.17.130

Hi, you have rejected my article in favour of someone who radically altered an existing page (i.e. I am trying to write an article about an international science research programme, there is a TV programme with the same name, someone has altered the TV programme page with some incorrect information about the science research programme (i.e. a programme like NASA, not a TV programme like Friends). I have removed the inaccurate parts of the other page, please re-review my article. 81.220.17.130 (talk) 08:52, 19 May 2015 (UTC)

I commented on your draft. Kharkiv07 (T) 12:50, 19 May 2015 (UTC)

Invitation to comment on VP proposal: Establish WT:MoS as the official site for style Q&A on Wikipedia

You are being contacted because of your participation in the proposal to create a style noticeboard. An alternate solution, the full or partial endorsement of the style Q&A currently performed at WT:MoS, is now under discussion at the Village Pump. Darkfrog24 (talk) 21:27, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
