Hi. I understand you may be an editor who is related to the above, and if so I wish to be kind in what I say and do here. Unfortunately though, if you happen to have first hand knowledge that he has passed on, it is sadly not enough to make a change in the status of either his article or for an entry into Deaths in 2018. A solid and reliable source, such as an online obituary or news report, must be provided for both. I'm sorry if this intrudes on any grief, but it is the only way that Wikipedia works, by providing such sources. If you do find an online link source or other printed reference to back up the changes you are making, then please revisit your edits with the necessary information. Thanks. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve.
