On the SSN article[edit]

Hi there,I've noticed that you've erased a lot of content in the SSNCE article.This content was also erased earlier,and I'm assuming good faith here.Why did you make those changes? - Amog |Talk 08:51, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

All right.That's good to hear.But,as far as i know,that information about the Ssn-Carnegie Mellon tie-up is true.In Wikipedia,instead of erasing content,we generally try to locate sources for that information.
I'm an SVCE student too,and I'd like to see those pictures of yours :) - Amog |Talk 05:22, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I looked at your recently uploaded pictures,and found that the serene-campus picture is slightly blurry(This happens a lot in 5mp pictures,especially taken with a Sony cybershot).The swimming pool picture is clear,but the cleaning tools slightly take the focus off the pool(can you try taking another?),but the best of the lot was the tech. center,being perfectly clear.I'm uploading that one now. Also,remember to add licenses to your pictures,or they'll end up deleted.Cheers - Amog |Talk 05:40, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

To prevent your pictures from being deleted:
  • remove the {{di-no license|month=May|day=11|year=2008}} add this to the page
== Licensing ==
{{cc-by-sa-2.5}}
P.s:when you type on a users talk page,you generally start off at the bottom of the page :) Amog |Talk 05:48, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

SVCE article[edit]

Yeah,the addition of the swimming pool did mess up the alignment a bit,but no issues.I moved that picture down to student life(very good picture by the way).As you said,the students picture looks a little too personal,and we should avoid the adding that picture. More pictures can be accommodated,but we should expand the content first. Do you have any information on the management,governing council,endowment? We should also put up a section on student festivals,and add details on our culturals.On the whole,great contributions! - Amog |Talk 07:48, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah,i guess our fests aren't the talk of the town,but a good college article won't be complete without information on that stuff :) Amog |Talk 15:48, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to be inactive till the 28th of this month.My semesters are starting tomorrow.Collaborate with user:planemad on the article. Good luck! :D - Amog |Talk 03:30, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I had nominated the article to attain a Good article status, and they did a review. I was trying to improve the article as per that review. - Amog | Talkcontribs 04:42, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Lancer Corporation requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
