Did you check the reference to Ford to see if that is what he said? (I'm on the road and don't have it at hand.) -- Elphion (talk) 17:19, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I could not find it. However, "Greek tel-" is an error, as stated.

Actually ...[edit]

this isn't so much a typo as a grammatical error. Daniel Case (talk) 00:04, 9 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Standardised warnings[edit]

Hi Kate,

Happy New Year!

Thank you for adding a tag to Cherubim and Seraphim (Nigerian church) a few months ago. I just spotted that it was a red link as you didn't use a standard template, so I replaced it.

Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace is a useful list of standard warning templates, which you may find useful. I came across it via User:Xiner's home page, which has some other helpful links and advice.

Best wishes – Fayenatic London 15:50, 1 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks![edit]

Thanks! Kate Gladstone - http://learn.to/handwrite (talk) 17:46, 19 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome, Kate.
That's an unusual way to advertise a website in your signature while linking to your user page. Please see WP:Signatures#Links. I would advise you to change your sig in Preferences, removing the URL, and instead put the information on your user page. Kind regards – Fayenatic London 20:56, 7 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

How do I access Preferences to correct my sig?

It’s easier on a computer than a mobile device. Still, if your device has a big enough screen, you can use the desktop version of Wikipedia; scroll to the bottom of the page and click Desktop. Then, Preferences is at the top of the page. – Fayenatic London 21:01, 10 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Talk pages[edit]

Hi Kate, please don't modify talk page comments as you did at Talk:Italic type. Thanks! Graham87 06:43, 22 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Next time, you will likely be blocked. This is the last warning.--Ymblanter (talk) 15:55, 6 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I’ll comply.

October 2019[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Catharism, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - Epinoia (talk) 20:13, 7 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
