Let me guess--fellow whitneyite??[edit]

Good job man (or m'am). I look forward to working together. The best of luck to yah!!

I think it's kinda interesting that even the old highschool has a Wikipedia entry. I'm vaguely curious as to how many Whitneyites (and who, specifically) are editing the WHS entry, but in any case, good work and keep it up. Quincetessence 02:37, 11 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for continuing to stop the vandalism. I got disillusioned and stopped caring for a bit, but then I see someone else and yourself keep on the fight and I'm re-inspired to keep on Wiki...pedia...ing. As for vandalism, there is a guide: Wikipedia:Vandalism. There are warning links in there to use. After applying the final warnings, you can refer vandals to an admin who'll notice the warnings and being placing bans. Keep up the good work. Quincetessence 09:49, 17 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Summary[edit]

Can you please stop randomly revising/changing Kim Possible related article without summarising!

You are making everyone's job a bit harder. Highway 20:45, 1 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Jumping Cheese. It's JasonBillie, and I got a message for you. Tell Erased Paper why he is keeping deleting my edits from Kim Possible.

Request for edit summary[edit]

Hi. I am a bot, and I am writing to you with a request. I would like to ask you, if possible, to use edit summaries a bit more often when you contribute. The reason an edit summary is important is because it allows your fellow contributors to understand what you changed; you can think of it as the "Subject:" line in an email. For your information, your current edit summary usage is 1% for major edits and 12% for minor edits. (Based on the last 142 major and 100 minor edits in the article namespace.)

This is just a suggestion, and I hope that I did not appear impolite. You do not need to reply to this message, but if you would like to give me feedback, you can do so at the feedback page. Thank you, and happy edits, Mathbot 02:01, 2 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanxs for the tip. (I'm talking to an inanimate bot!) =D Jumping cheese 02:06, 2 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image Tagging Image:Sia.jpg[edit]

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Sia.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. -SCEhardT 05:44, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

I'm not sure if the citation for the Cerritos Libary image is correct because the library isn't funded by the federal government. But anyhow, just keep putting up images in the Cerritos, CA article with proper citations. The more pictures we can show of our beautiful hometown to outsiders and other Cerritoceans, the better.

Karl[edit]

Nope. Just that he was in the school media lab during third period (It is coming from the Whitney High media lab, ironic isn't it?). I have my suspicions on who it is. Typer525 03:30, 24 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Yes any computer at school. I have concluded that he is Advanced Bio Topics during third period and haven given him my email (not my usual one of course) Typer525 06:34, 24 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Great detective work typer525 i hope you find that dang vandal.

For the record, that was Karl. Check the IP's contributions, he identified himself as Karl to me earlier today. Typer525 07:22, 25 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Well here is an update on karl, he is in one of Stinson's classes. One of my friends have found the name Karl Naowa...(can't remember the rest of the name... :P ) written all over one of her colored pencil boxes. However I am going to call the all clear because the media lab is now off limits to general internet use. Keep up the good work. Oh nice talk page format. --Typer525 Talk Click here at your own risk 01:28, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • OMFG... I know who "Karl" is... he is a senior at Whitney named...... Karl Naowamondhol!!!! I ASSUMED THAT KARL WAS A FAKE NAME!!!!! I should of thought of looking the name up in a yearbook a long time ago.... --Typer525 Talk Click here at your own risk 23:49, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well I looked the name up from the yearbook 2 years ago (when I was in 7th grade, now freshman) I asked a senior at the band concert yesterday (June 1) about him. He said that Karl quit Whitney and goes to Gahr after 10 grade. --Typer525 Talk Click here at your own risk 21:46, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I read that in the aspects article. However if you look at the bottom of that page, it says that "Disclaimer: This is a joke issue. Do not take anything for truth" So they could be making it up. Typer525 Talk Click here at your own risk 13:48, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Did you notice the Karl like vandalism? Looks like Karl is back for round 2.... --Typer525 Talk 01:55, 23 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I assure you it is not me, Karl, that is vandalizing the webpage. and typer525 regarding the colored pencil u found in stinson with my name all over is not of my doing. If you look carefully around the Whitney campus my name is elegantly tagged everywhere, like hidden easter eggs. I am karl N. the guy everybody knows but doesnt really know. Response from letter.[edit]

Thanks, I've been keeping an eye on the Ron Stoppable page for some time, I try to show proof as well as detailed/impartial information about Ron. I'm not certain if most people simply see him as a "poor, not to intelligent kid" but th series gives us more than enough proof. I just try to show things in a objective, factual way. Besides from developing the Ron Stoppable page, I've also added most of the pictures and practically all the content in Zorpox The Conqueror.

Anyway, in time I'll be putting some more information about Ron, and impartial points of view.

Thanks for enjoying the page! :)

I'll try to put some more pictures if necessary.

EDIT: See? I have nooo idea how to fix this.

Okay, working, thanks... for some reason this was squished to the side. Now it's not. Weird.

It isn't much of an article. Hardly two sentences. I believe that if you are going to toss up a Wikipedia Article then you should at least make an effort to write some text, especially if the film is so unimportant. Unspecified source for Image:McChicken India.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:McChicken India.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Cerritos article[edit]

Thanks for taking the time to do some referencing for the Cerritos, CA article. I know it probably was time consuming, but it was something that had to be done eventually. I just haven't found the time to actually get around to doing it...now if only you can label the notes properly--but I know that would be asking for too much. ;) Thanks for your work.

I'm glad you appreciated the update.[edit]

Hello.

I wasn't expecting such an enthusiastic response to my one little edit, especially since I've done so many to the Kim Possible segment over the last few months. In fact, I wrote most of the info for Jack Hench, The Jackal, Will Du, Dr. Director, Gemini, Sensei, Hirotaka and others. I've also made significant contributions to The Killer Bebes, Steve Barkin, DNAmy, Team Go and of course, Kim and Ron (although quite a few of my edits have either been altered or deleted as others felt the need to add in their edits).

Rest assured, I'll be adding further edits as I find openings and as further information becomes available. If you happen to be a Sailor Moon Fan, You might want to check out the Sailor Moon section of Wikipedia and check out the segment I wrote about Tuxedo Mask's portrayal in the original manga series. I guarantee, you'll never look at him the same way again.

Well, that's all for now. Hope to hear from you soon.

Thank you for clarifying the rights of Cyrus Bortel and Hirotaka to be on the Kim Possible minor allies article. I just didn't see how Bortel was an ally. I mean, all he did was invent inventions for no purpose. I don't necessarily see association as accounting for being an ally, but I'll go with it. 70.58.209.30 23:56, 2 August 2006 (UTC)70.58.211.22070.58.209.30 23:56, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My edit counter[edit]

The reason for the excessively long URL is the amount of detail. The problem is that the results page that you see doesn't actually exist (User:ais523/results does exist, but it's only a template), and so all the information to fill it in has to be in the URL; the script will change the page to contain the correct information when it loads. Therefore, the results can't really be viewed unless the viewer has the counter installed, and even then the entire URL has to be linked. I'm working on links to show the markup for the results (hidden behind a {{hidden}} like the longer results are) so that it can be copied-and-pasted for a record. --ais523 07:30, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

I've now upgraded it so that counts of 0 are hidden and you can get the wikimarkup for the full version by copy-and-pasting it (although you might miss a semicolon right at the start). You may need to bypass your cache again to see the changes. --ais523 16:37, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

Hello.[edit]

Hi.

First of all, sorry for the reply being a little late. Due to present circumstances, I only have Internet access on weekends. Hopefully, this won't be a problem for too much longer.

Hmmm, not an anime fan, eh? Well, I'm sure we'll get along anyway.;)

Anywho, I have every intention of making more Kim Possible updates as I come up with ideas or as information becomes available. I do have one suggestion though. I've kind of had this in the back of my head for a while now but I didn't want to overstep my bounds as far as editing goes. I was actually thinking that in the Kim Possible Family Members Section, it might be an idea to kind of give Ron an Honorable Mention. I mean, considering he goes with Kim on all family trips (not to mention the fact that he celebrates Christmas with them in spite of the fact that he's Jewish), the argument could be made that the Possibles have more or less accepted him as an unofficial member of the family. Just a thought.

Well, that's all for now. Hope to hear from you soon.

Later.

--TuxedAaron 21:34, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Understood.[edit]

Hey.

Hey, don't worry about my limited Internet access. I've been getting by just fine.

Well, you're certainly not wrong with what you said. I just thought giving Ron an Honorable Mention might be an idea to suggest. I'm certainly not married to the idea though.

Anyway, I'm thinking the next Kim Possible update I do will be in regards to the Game Boy Advance game, Kim Possible 3: Team Possible. I figure I'll throw in some basic gameplay rules and a rundown on the characters in the game (as well as posting my own review of the game in a seperate section). Of course, I have to get my thoughts together on it so it might take a little bit. Just keeping you posted. Hope to hear from you soon.

Later.

--TuxedAaron 10:12, 5 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I see.[edit]

Hello.

Well, I'll give the Honorable Mention a shot and see what happens. It might not be until next week though, we'll see.

It might take that long to get my edit on Kim Possible 3 done as well. I just want to reacquaint myself with some information and get things put together in a nice clean manner.

Well, that's all for now. Hope to hear from you soon.

Later.

--TuxedAaron 09:34, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks.[edit]

Thanks for the smile. It's good to know how much you appreciate my efforts. It makes me feel like I've made some good contributions.

Anyway, I'm planning a few minor edits this weekend and now that my head's a little clearer, I might start getting that Kim Possible 3 GBA game info underway. It might not get done this weekend, but I should hopefully have a pretty good chunk of it done at least.

Well, that's all for now. Hope to hear from you soon.

Updates.[edit]

Hello.

You might want to check out the Minor Family Members Section for Kim Possible. I have a feeling you'll be pleasantly surprised.;)

Later.

TuxedAaron 08:07, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why thank you.[edit]

Hi.

Well, now I'm even more convinced that my efforts are being appreciated. These last two updates have had to be my biggest since I came on to add in The Jackal, Will Du, Dr. Director, Gemini, and Sensei (as well as adding to a few others that night).

Yes, I said two updates. Because I just finished my work on the Kim Possible 3 section. Give it a look when you get the chance. I think you'll be more than happy with the results. Of course, it still has room for expansion and a little clean up, but for a first draft, I'm very proud of it. It also allows anyone else to come in and throw their two cents in if they feel I missed something.

Anyway, that's all for now. Hope to hear from you soon.

Glad you liked it.[edit]

Hi.

My next couple messages are probably going to end up being a little long-winded, so I hope you can bear with.

First of all, I'm glad you liked my additions to Kim Possible 3 so much. There are still some little specifics that can be added, but for now, this is quite satisfactory. What can I say? When you go through as many video game magazines as I have, you pretty much get the prose down pat. Having played Kim Possible 3 and beating the game didn't hurt either. The only thing was that while the game was okay, that's really all it was. Just okay. And there were a lot of elements in this game that showed it could have been great if Disney had just gone the extra mile.

Everything about Kim Possible 3 was a mixed bag. I mean, the gameplay aspects were terrific. There were times when the controls could have been a little tighter, but that's really minor. And Ron fits into this game so flawlessly, I really had to wonder why they waited until the third game to make him playable, especially since the tag in/tag out feature makes the gameplay so much deeper (I guess since Ron is Kim's boyfriend now, maybe Disney figured he finally needed some face time on the game front). But unfortunately, there are just as many flaws as there are perks.

Graphics during the gameplay are good. The sprites are well done and smoothly animated. But the animated cut scenes to set up the levels and the different tasks within the levels are horrendously bad. I mean, they don't even look good by old school NES standards. Audio is okay. I liked that they added a few sound bytes of Rufus when he enters and exits Ron's pocket. But if they were going to do that, why not add a few sound bytes of everyone else? How hard would it have been? And while the levels are big and detailed, with lots of room to explore (It can take you over an hour just to complete one whole level), there are only three. I mean, come on. I got to the end of the game and was ready to play more. Where was the next level? And it wasn't because the game couldn't handle it either. Anyone who's seen the opening animation of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, knows exactly what kind of horsepower the Game Boy Advance has. The bottom line is, Disney could have easily done more with this game and chose not to.

All in all, I think Kim Possible 3 would have benefitted from two basic things. More time and more effort. If Disney had gone the extra mile with EVERY aspect of the game, instead of just rushing to throw a game on the shelves as soon as they could, I think Kim Possible 3 would have been a game worth playing even if someone wasn't a fan of the show. Unfortunately, Disney settled for a rush job and I didn't really appreciate that, especially since this game really had so many things going for it.

Well, that's all for now. And don't worry. I'll be sure to add new information and make new edits as things become available. I expect we'll both be making major edits as the new season kicks off, although I'd like to know when that is. So far, I've seen nothing advertised. Some aspects of the new season I find interesting and others, not so much, but I'll talk about that in my next message.

Thanks again for a second star and I hope to hear from you soon.

Later.

Hi again.[edit]

Hey.

I'd originally thought about sending this message as an e-mail to you, but I figured since you were taking what they apparently call a "wikibreak", there wasn't much sense in talking shop. As I'm sure you've already read, my last message to you was just a general critique on the Kim Possible 3 game, along with my word that while I'll continue to edit whenever possible, the real editing will begin once Season 4 kicks off. I'm kind of looking forward to seeing what it has to offer. Some of what I'm hearing about I have some pretty strong opinions on and others, not so much. I realize my opinions don't amount for much at this point, considering that the writing for Season 4 has to be pretty much done. I just feel the need to voice them. Let's see how many of them agree with.

JIM AND TIM IN HIGH SCHOOL: Let's face it, this move was pretty much a no-brainer. I very much doubt that anyone who heard about this was surprised in the least. Of course, this won't be a major development. I imagine it'll just be played up for laughs.

NEW ENEMIES FOR TEAM GO: Again, another no-brainer. I imagine this might be a way to round Team Go out a little bit, as well as Shego's relationship with her brothers.

MONIQUE JOINING THE TEAM: Don't get me wrong, I like Monique a lot, but I gotta calls 'em like I sees 'em. When I first heard about this, I'd really kind of hoped it was just a rumor. If they had done this back in Season 3, maybe I wouldn't have had such misgivings about it. It would've rounded Monique out a bit. But at this point and with Season 4 most likely being the last season (unless Disney cranks out more Kim Possible movies and/or DVDs and I really think that's an avenue they should be seriously considering), it just feels like bad timing. I mean, with Kim always at the top of her game and Ron getting better all the time (he's still nowhere in Kim's league, but he's definitely getting there and it's safe to assume he'll be that much closer by the time Season 4 wraps), Monique is very late to the dance and she's not really bringing anything with her (considering her somewhat less-than-inspired performance back in "A Sitch in Time").

Later, when I heard about her being on board to be the Team's head of disguises, it put my mind at ease slightly, but my feelings are still kind of mixed. I think it's got a shot if she's regulated to a support position like Wade (I could even see Ron trying to toss a few pearls of wisdom her way, since he'd most likely be looking at her and seeing a lot of himself when he was first starting this gig), but I don't know if she can work in an extended action role and I'll tell you why. The reason Kim and Ron can get the job done is that one way or another, they each have something that gives them an advantage and Monique just doesn't have that. I guess I'll have to wait and see how the season plays out to find out for myself. But the way I see it, unless Schooley and McCorkle go out of their way to provide her with some kind of an edge, I have my doubts right now.

RON GETS A SIBLING: Cosidering how little we've seen of the Stoppable family, it would be pretty easy to work a baby into the mix. And I'm sure it'll be very entertaining to see Ron juggle a mission with Kim and trying to care for his new baby brother/sister (face it, you KNOW they're going to do it).

KIM AND RON AS GIRLFRIEND AND BOYFRIEND: This is the big one and the one thing that I think everyone has their eye on. I have to be honest, I'm 100% behind this one. Considering that the writing was on the wall pretty much ever since "A Sitch in Time", I think it's nice. I do understand people's misgivings about it, though. After all, this is going to be a very easy trap to fall into. If too much focus is placed on Kim and Ron's romance, then the show, in spite of itself, will start becoming more serious. And let's face it, we all know that Kim Possible is not supposed to be serious. I mean, I liked "So the Drama", but because it doesn't have a lot of the laughs you've come to expect from the show, you definitely have to be in the right frame of mind to watch it.

Obviously, the key to this working is Schooley and McCorkle. As the show's creators, they're as invested in it as the fans are. And after reading their interview at bloggingbaby.com (the interview I turned your way in the edit that let us meet), it's refreshing to know that they see what we see. But seeing a trap and avoiding it are two very different things. I think the trick in this case is going to be to kind of downplay the relationship. Acknowledge it, but not focus on it too much. I mean, I really don't think that seeing Kim and Ron enjoy a little hugging and kissing, or even a few warm and tender moments, is going to cripple the series (I can almost guarantee that they're going to do a Valentine's Day episode, it's too perfect for them not to). However, having said that, I don't think it should make up the entire landscape of the new season either. I just think the whole thing should be dialed back. Just throw in a little romance for flavor here and there and then move on. This now leads into the other development...

BONNIE TRYING TO BREAK THE HAPPY COUPLE UP: I think a lot of fans are going to get a big kick out of watching her fail miserably to keep these two apart. I mean, let's face it, there's no way she's going to pull it off. Still, I don't think it should be something too heavily focused on because again, it runs the risk of falling into the very trap Schooley and McCorkle are trying very hard to avoid. Personally, I think this should kind of be treated like the Jim and Tim idea and just played up for laughs. In fact, I think it would be kind of interesting to see this one kind of tie into the other and see Jim and Tim be the ones who mostly trip her up. Wouldn't that be a concept?

Well, that's my rant. I hope you got through it okay, I just felt the need to get that off my chest. And maybe give you a little food for thought once you get back from your break. Anyway, I hope you had a nice rest and I hope to hear from you soon.

Later.

Welcome back.[edit]

Hey.

Well, I kind of figured you were away on a trip, so I wasn't going to make a big deal out of anything. And with school back on the horizon, I'm not surprised that you'll be busy again as well. Not that that's a bad thing.

Anywho, yeah, there are a lot of things gamers look for in a game. It can't just look good, it has to play good. The controls have to be tight, the story (if any) has to be good. It shouldn't be too difficult, it shouldn't be too easy. There are a lot of factors.

As for my comments, well, I really wanted to just get those off my chest and I figured you would be as good a candidate as any to guage a reaction from. I mean, I've got some friends who like Kim Possible as well, but we really don't get the chance to discuss it much. So I don't really have a forum to voice my thoughts sometimes. I just wanted to know how many of my thoughts you agreed with and how many made me seem like I was way out in left field.

Anyway, that's all for now. Hope to hear from you soon. But if not, don't worry. I'll understand if you're busy.

Later.

Fermilab Update[edit]

Re: Fermilab update.

Hey I'm glad someone other than OrphanBot noticed ;) Does it read ok by you?

If you would know anything about the various free-standing octagonal structures that dot the res, particularly up by Linear, and south of the Playground, I'd love to know what they are and go snap photos for their inclusion.
