Calgary neighbourhoods[edit]

I coundn't find them in the reference from List of neighbourhoods in Calgary (Calgary Official Community Map). I've seen a handfull of community names added by an anon, checked out a few, saw they were not on the official list, and deleted all new additions by that editor. If you are absolutely sure some new communities were established, you can certainly add them to the list. Just double check with the official lists form the city of calgary website, or look for community association websites. --Qyd 15:04, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I have a note. I think the {{Views}} template is too large to be a side template (it takes around half of my screen). Perhaps you'd consider making it a bottom template, like {{mathematics-footer}}, or making it much narrower by removing information, like {{calculus}}. I wonder what you think. You can reply here. Thanks. Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 02:54, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Oleg Alexandrov. I took out some explanatory information so the the list is more or less just links. Please let me know if it is still too wide. Thanks. --Jrsnbarn 11:22, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Cool. Thanks. Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 15:12, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

cob[edit]

Because I added the term into the introduction. `'mikka 14:54, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is that a good rule of thumb? If a term is linked in an article, there is no need to repeat it in the See Also' section? I wonder if this makes it harder for people to find related articles.--Jrsnbarn 14:57, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Poll on inclusion of natural building link[edit]

We would like to get input on the inclusion of an external link (naturalhomes.org) in the article on Straw-bale construction. There is discussion and a poll here. Comments prior to August 3, 2007 would be appreciated. Thanks. Sunray 16:31, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Area redevelopment plans[edit]

I have an issue with a municipality in Alberta proposing to pass a bylaw that appears to conflict with its own Area Redevelopment Plan for the land in question. As a result, I would appreciate it if you could provide your authority for the statement, "When approved by a municipal council, an area redevelopment plan, or ARP, becomes binding under the Municipal Government Act."

I have done a fairly in-depth review of the Alberta MGA and haven't found a binding clause (although the Saskatchewan MGA does have one).

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. StockGear (talk) 23:02, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation page merging[edit]

A long time ago, you left a comment at Talk:ARP about your thoughts about merging the disambiguation pages ARP and Arp. I wanted to let you know that I'm actually going to merge them, as per Wikipedia:Disambiguation#Page_naming_conventions, all capitalizations of the same term should be located on one disambiguation page. I know it's been ages since your comment, but I wanted to tell you, for good measure and all. -- Natalya 20:51, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
