Recent edits at John Herron[edit]

I note you have recently made edits to the article about former politician John Herron. i note your user name is similar to a previous editor who recently made edits there. This is the message I left on that other editor page:

Hi there. Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia and to the article on the former Senator, John Herron. I note from your user name that you might be a close relative of the person about whom you are editing. If that is the csae, please bear in mind that other editors will be particularly alert to your edits, and do your best to ensure you don't make edits if you believe you may have a conflict of interest, or not be able to contribute with a neutral point of view. Most of your edits have been useful, but i have noticed some material concerning things like awards and commendations received by Herron for which no references have been provided. Can you see if you can find reliable sources for this information, or it may end up being removed. Cotnact me at my talk page if you have any queries. hamiltonstone (talk) 02:45, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Can I encourage you to make contributions to articles where there is no risk of a conflict of interest? Many of the details you have added are unreferenced, and one could be considered POV (which I will revert). Contact me on my talk page if you have questions. hamiltonstone (talk) 02:57, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
