I think John gave you good advice about your article choices: Equant is almost certainly the most straightforward project, but expanding the coverage of Hermetic alchemy would also be valuable. (If you have solid sources, you might even create a new article on Hermetic alchemy, since it's touched on only briefly in both Hermeticism and Alchemy.)

I'll repeat the word of caution I left for a few of your classmates: that Physics in medieval Islam article has an interesting history. (Check out the talk page and the page history for some details.) It used to be much, much longer, but it was basically cut down to almost nothing because the editor who had built it was banned because of "abuse of sources". So if you choose that one, you may want to check out the old versions and see if anything is worth using... but if you do, be absolutely sure that you verify the content against the cited sources (that is, make sure the sources actually say what they used to back up), and remove anything that you can't verify yourself from the sources.--ragesoss (talk) 15:51, 27 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
