Thanks for pointing that out, but in some translations of Samuel 1:1 he is listed as an Ephrathite instead of an Ephraimite, and the purpose of the link was to show that he was actually the father of Eliab. Jehoiakimin (talk) 06:41, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

December 2022[edit]

Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Azor (biblical figure). Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. Edit summaries[edit]

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed a recent edit you made does not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution[edit]
