Moved draft[edit]

FYI, I moved Jasperkal/sandbox/Satsang to User:Jasperkal/sandbox/Satsang; it was missing the "User:" prefix to indicate it belongs to your account and is not (yet) a regular article. Thanks for your work on this, and good writing! -- Beland (talk) 18:09, 1 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved the article back. Please continue to work on it in draftspace as it is not yet ready to be in mainspace. It needs further in depth sourcing from secondary sources to make it clear why it passes WP:ORG. Star Mississippi 03:56, 9 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

AfC notification: Draft:Heartfulness Education Trust has a new comment[edit]

I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Heartfulness Education Trust. Thanks! HighKing++ 13:15, 9 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @HighKing .
Thanks for you detailed feedback-- (Much Needed!!) Appreciate it!
As far as secondary sources for any NGO are concerned, it is challenging to find them as they are charitable organizations.
For Heartfulness Education Trust I have been able to find the following sources which seem to establish the notability as per Wikipedia policies. Would be good to have your views on it too..
Kindly share your opinion.Jasperkal (talk) 09:34, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I have already provided you with detailed feedback on the Draft page including explanation on our guidelines, especially CORPDEPTH and ORGIND and so I won't repeat that here. It would be very much appreciated though if you thoroughly checked any proposed references before suggesting here.
  • For example, the article in BoldOutline references a "study" which was "published" in journal - same as a number of other similar promotional articles such as this in Siasat Daily. First off, I can find no evidence that the "study" publication was peer reviewed. Second, the study was produced by, for example, Dr. Raja Amarnath, who is involved and connected with the topic organization and used to "work" for "HMRT India" (Heartfulness Medical Research) - therefore, this study is a PRIMARY source and fails ORGIND? This is the type of thorough checking that is required.
  • This "letter puzzles me, I'm not sure how you might think think this may be used to show notability. It's a memo of understanding but there's nothing that meets WP:CORPDEPTH (for example). Please reread the notes I provided on the draft. *Each* reference must meet all the criteria.
  • Similarly, this from Telangana is equally puzzling and I do not see how you might be suggesting this as a reference that assists in establishing the *notability* (and not merely the existence) of the topic organization. For example, this has not in-depth information on the topic organization and is a mere mention-in-passing.
  • Leaving aside the questionable reliability of the publisher, the article in NGOBOX is an exact replica of this article on a different website which proves they are not original and both merely regurgitate PR and/or announcements, therefore fails ORGIND.
None of those new reference meet the criteria for establishing notability. None even come close. Wikipedia is not a platform for advertising or promotion, nor a Yellow Pages. Please read NCORP guidelines paying special attention to what I've written in terms of guidance, and please thoroughly and rigorously check the references against WP:SIRS and especially WP:ORGIND/WP:CORPDEPTH. Heartfulness Essay Event moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Heartfulness Essay Event, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. – robertsky (talk) 14:03, 15 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Satsangh moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Satsangh, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia).

It is promotionally written, and needs a thorough revision, including removal of non-independent and non-reliable sources, removal of a lot of minor detail (WP:NOTGUIDE), and rewriting in a neutral tone.

Do not move it to mainspace yourself. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 10:17, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Bonadea
Thanks for your response I will check and get back to you..
just for your reference Satsang is a common linguistic word which wikipedia does not have. It is commonly used in eastern part of the world. Jasperkal (talk) 12:31, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No, it is a noun derived from a Sanskrit word, it is not a linguistics term. But that has nothing to do with the reasons why the article was draftified. --bonadea contributions talk 12:57, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I cant be promoting a well known noun.. I have written the article from neutral view citing the available sources. The article is straight forward.. that could be its drawback.. I have not hummed around the topic.. Simply brought to light what sources say..
Anyway.. Let me try a different style for your concerns raised...
Give me some time. Life seems to be consuming more time lately leaving less for self interests.
Thanks @Bonadea Jasperkal (talk) 13:12, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
There is no deadline – a draft that is not edited at all for 6 months may be deleted but can easily be restored. It is a little concerning that you believe that the article is written from a neutral point of view, since it is very much written from the point of view of those who practise and promote it. It's the difference between explaining what satsang is (which the draft doesn't really do), and claiming that it is positive and beneficial and leads to all kinds of personal improvements. Similarly, all sources are entirely from the point of view of the practitioners, and as far as I can tell there are almost no independent sources. As for being straight-forward – no, I'm afraid that's the opposite of what this draft is. It says vague and fluffy things like "It is a company of people where unity in all is felt and the idea of separation/diversity is dissolved" (note! that is one example of vague and non-neutral phrasing, and the draft would not be acceptable if that one sentence were removed). --bonadea contributions talk 09:15, 28 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
