Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Aluminium. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Dina 15:21, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Joie shop, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. EliminatorJR Talk 19:15, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from creating inappropriate pages such as Joie shop. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. -WarthogDemon 19:58, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Joie shop. If you continue to remove them, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -WarthogDemon 20:04, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jason;

The stuff that you have put in Wikipedia so far has been only commercial spam. We have policies against this: WP:SPAM, WP:COI, WP:LINKS. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and must remain a neutral information source. Commercial advertising here is prohibited.

Accounts used only for commercial advertising purposes are blockable by our current user policy guidelines. I request that you read the policies above, contact me if you have any questions, and refrain from further advertising activity on Wikipedia. If you continue with it, I or another administrator will block your account and IP address from editing in the future.

We welcome informational contributions of all sorts, and we invite you to contribute in that manner. But please don't try and advertise here.

Thank you. Georgewilliamherbert 20:44, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
