The article Pouria Amirshahi has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. JTtheOG (talk) 22:47, 6 March 2016 (UTC)

Your recent edits

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

Paris

Bonjour and welcome to Wikipedia!

I can help you out with your questions! Do you need help with Wikicode syntax? Any issues with policies and guidelines?

I can give you a list of particular photos I am interested in. Keep in mind France lacks "freedom of panorama" if the building is modern (architect has not been dead for a certain number of years) and has a unique design. That means some images must be uploaded locally to the French and English Wikipedias instead of the multipurpose Wikimedia Commons.

I don't go on my e-mail account so often but I do have whispertotheworld (at) gmail (dot) com as my e-mail and I can do Google chat from there sometimes. WhisperToMe (talk) 18:41, 9 March 2016 (UTC)

BTW you can meet User:Tangopaso, another Parisian who contributes to both the French and English Wikipedias WhisperToMe (talk) 18:50, 9 March 2016 (UTC)

The "Tools" panel to your left has "Upload file" which links to Wikipedia:File_Upload_Wizard. Please follow the instructions there and select the proper non-free categories. For example I took File:Air_France_HQ.png of the AF HQ at CDG Airport in 2010. On FR the page is fr:Aide:Importer_un_fichier WhisperToMe (talk) 19:45, 9 March 2016 (UTC)

BTW on EN please specify {{FoP-USonly|France}} as the custom Wikicode for a license of the picture WhisperToMe (talk) 19:47, 9 March 2016 (UTC)

Help proposed

Hi. I am Tangopaso. I am 65 years old, retired from a bank, lives in a suburb near Paris. I contribute to French and English wikipedia. And to Commons. I can help you if you wish. You can let a message on my discussion page. --Tangopaso (talk) 19:52, 9 March 2016 (UTC)

--Tangopaso (talk) 20:12, 9 March 2016 (UTC)

Re: I want to Participate in the WikiProject France/Paris

Hello/Bonjour. Thanks for your message. Feel free to email me at macaronlover22@gmail.com

Your contributed article, Delphine O

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Delphine O. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Stéphanie Kerbarh. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Stéphanie Kerbarh. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. ToThAc (talk) 19:35, 5 December 2017 (UTC)

I am indeed not a very experienced wikipedian but if I am not mistaken, those two articles are for different members of parliament. James Tamim (talk) 22:15, 5 December 2017 (UTC)

The article Delphine O has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Orphaned non-free image File:UberEATS logo december 2017.svg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:UberEATS logo december 2017.svg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:52, 14 December 2017 (UTC)

Fair-use violation

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the UberEATS article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text—which means allowing other people to modify it—then you must include on the external site the statement: "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, and under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribute Share-Alike".

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question at the Help Desk. You can also leave a message on my talk page. --Yamla (talk) 13:38, 17 December 2017 (UTC)

Broke and Bones moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Broke and Bones, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. scope_creepTalk 17:51, 22 August 2020 (UTC)

Nomination of Dreamhaven for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Dreamhaven is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dreamhaven until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. scope_creepTalk 21:14, 7 October 2020 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:Emmanuel Glaser

Hello, Jamestamim. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Emmanuel Glaser".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 05:19, 17 January 2021 (UTC)

Thank you for deleting this, I should have done this sooner myself. James Tamim (talk) 12:50, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
