May 2023[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Doctor Who (2008–2010 specials) have been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 22:07, 13 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Hailey Bieber, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. Sundayclose (talk) 15:12, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Marita Camacho Quirós, you may be blocked from editing. I reinsered citations. This information is not cited elsewhere in the article, & removing the citations would expose this information to removal as uncited material. Please refrain from this, especially as it could violate WP:BLP. Peaceray (talk) 17:03, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at Doctor Who (2008–2010 specials). Removing valid citations because WP:OTHERSTUFFDOESNTEXIST violates English Wikipedia policy. Peaceray (talk) 17:09, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at James Dyson. Insufficient explanation of removing references. Peaceray (talk) 17:12, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at Dewsbury. Insufficient explanation for removing references. Another editor has already restored them.. Peaceray (talk) 17:14, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Infoboxes[edit]

It's pointless to put information in an infobox if it doesn't conform to parameter requirements. If you bother to actually look at the results of your edits, you'll see that this edit did not change the infobox. It unnecessarily clutters the infobox and wastes everyone's time having to clean up after you. Please stop. Don't edit infoboxes if you don't know what you're doing. Sundayclose (talk) 18:45, 22 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

STOP making unsourced edits. Last chance. You can already be blocked. One more unsourced edit and you will be.[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Linda Larkin. Sundayclose (talk) 19:29, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Banned[edit]

Welcome back WelshDragon. You know fine well that you're permanently banned and should not have returned here under a new account. Jkaharper (talk) 02:17, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

User:Beeblebrox, how's it going? It's been a while! Listen, you blocked User:Jack M E 01 from article space for a refusal to communicate; well, this account is a CU match. In addition, User:Jkaharper, who's been here even longer than I have, thinks it's a sock of Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/WelshDragon18/Archive--is that right, Jkaharper? I can't confirm that, but it seems possible. Drmies (talk) 02:25, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Drmies:, pretty confident this is him. The editing patterns/frequency, editing style, and the topics edited (longevity related persons, Doctor Who/Torchwood articles, British soaps) are pretty much identical. --Jkaharper (talk) 02:30, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The behavioral evidence is pretty strong on its own, I'd say if CU shows a match, that's about as confirmed as it ever gets. Beeblebrox (talk) 16:19, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Confirmation and apology[edit]

Hey, guys

I just wanted to confirm that I am in fact User:Jack M E 01. I created this account because my first one was blocked and still wanted to make changes. I have autism and occasionally have wreckless impulses to want to change things that I view as being wrong.

Again, I humbly apologise and regret my actions.

Yours sincerely
