Red links[edit]

Please read Wikipedia:Red link. Red links for subjects that should have articles but do not, are not only acceptable, but needed in the articles. They serve as a clear indication of which articles are in need of creation, and encourage it. Please do not remove red links unless you are certain that Wikipedia should not have an article on that subject.

I am fairly sure that there should be an article called either City Today (newspaper) or Mysuru Today. I am not sure what exact relationship is between them. If you are going to cite Indian newspapers in articles, then it is very much in your interest that there should be articles on those newspapers, because it helps readers realise that you are citing independent reliable sources.

It is of course true, that too many red links in an article can be a problem.-- Toddy1 (talk) 19:54, 19 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

User:Toddy1 So, you want me to create a article for City Today (newspaper) ? Indimpdd (talk) 12:10, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oh yes please-- Toddy1 (talk) 12:20, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Syed Mohammed Hamza Ashraf Kichochawi[edit]

I was surprised that you started Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Syed Mohammed Hamza Ashraf Kichochawi. The content:[1] "No reason for deletion the page ? Indimpdd (talk) 13:38, 2 August 2020 (UTC)" reveals that you have not understood why the page was deleted. This worries me because, my impression is that you are a good person, who is sincerely trying to make Wikipedia better.[reply]

People explained their reasoning for and against deleting the page at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Syed Mohammed Hamza Ashraf Kichochawi. I am not asking you to agree with people. But please make an effort to understand their point of view. There will be other deletion discussions about other articles in the future. -- Toddy1 (talk) 15:35, 2 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have answered all the questions in favour to the page i created but their was not reply for my comments, so i sayed that there should be clean reason in deletion log for deleting the article, so i can understand when and how to edit the page and make it better and notable. Indimpdd (talk) 17:01, 2 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
But people did reply to your comments in the discussion. Several people in the discussion made reference to WP:GNG. Because you insisted that the sources cited in the article were good quality sources (you were right, they were), I put in a table showing how the sources matched up to the guidelines in WP:GNG. I also fixed problems with how the sources were described in the article. The sources only mentioned him in passing.-- Toddy1 (talk) 18:30, 2 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
People did replied me but not commented on all my points on page and the reference were reliable and independent of the subject so i think the reference was enough to prove him notable. Indimpdd (talk) 13:51, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, i want to work on this article; Syed Mohammed Noorani Ashraf. Can someone help me to make this deleted article as a draft so that i may make this article good, i have left a message to the deletion administrator but there was no respond for my message, so please someone help me !Indimpdd (talk) 14:30, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Indimpdd, So this article was deleted by a deletion discussion, which means that the article is not notable, i.e. the guy is not famous enough to have an article. It will not be undeleted so soon after a deletion discussion. I reccomend you focus on editing some existing articles for a while to get a feel for what is and isn't notable, before making articles from scratch. User:CaptainEek, I intend to work on it and i want it to move to draftication, further the reviewer will notice down that the article is notable or not, so i will help the article to make notable and add reliable sources. Indimpdd (talk) 12:05, 9 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
A deletion discussion also determines what is and isn't notable. This deletion discussion found this page not notable I'm afraid. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 19:43, 9 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Tafsir e Ashrafi moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Tafsir e Ashrafi, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Syed[edit]

I don't think that adding even more references should be the main focus on the Syed article. It is the quality of the references, and even more importantly, you should focus on the article text and explain what Syed has done throughout his career. Geschichte (talk) 14:39, 19 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Geschichte, If the article is moved to draft i will add all the details what he have done throughout his career.Indimpdd (talk) 12:51, 21 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by CNMall41 was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: Deleted in 2020 which means sources would need to show something since that time to merit notability. Unfortunately, the sources in this draft all precede that time so no sense in evaluating them. Based on the moves back and forth to draft, I would suggest AfD should this be moved into mainspace again. And, requesting page protection from creation at the conclusion of the AfD.
CNMall41 (talk) 20:36, 22 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Indimpdd. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Syed Mohammed Noorani Ashraf".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted.
