I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Proposed deletion of Sam Ancliff

The article Sam Ancliff has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article was self-created by the subject, Sam Ancliff, who is non-notable, (also see WP:SOAP, WP:COI), initially posting as ActivateUK, and as Sam Ancliff (politician)

Fails WP:GNG as the (poor) references cited are little more than passing mentions (one being semi-crowd-sourced by university media students), with some relating to an organisation Sam Ancliff is involved in Activate (organisation), (see WP:MASK). Complaince with Wikipedia Notability requires significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. SPA indicated.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Conflict of Interest editing

You will see from the messages above that your editing history indicates you are writing about yourself when creating Sam Ancliff, an autobiography which is strongly discouraged, and an organisation with which you have a close connection, Activate (organisation). These edits breach Wikipedia policies concerning self-promotion, indicating that you have established single-purpose accounts for express use in the topics mentioned.

Please stop editing in these areas, and read the relevant policies at WP:COI and WP:SOAPBOXING.

I have also nominated your self-written promotional autobiography for quick deletion; if this is contested by any editor, the follow up will be at articles for deletion where several unconnected editors will decide if the article has any merit.

This is a self-composed message in accordance with WP:BITE; some editors would send a pro-forma warning, but you have already received an initial (Welcome!) message in that regard, known as a level 1, so this is informal advice/request to desist from any similar further changes to any article you have a close connection with. Nomination of Sam Ancliff for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Sam Ancliff is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
