Information icon Welcome, and thank you for contributing the page Editatón Club de las 25 & Art+Feminism. Madrid to Wikipedia. While you have added the page to the English version of Wikipedia, the article is not in English. We invite you to translate it into English. It has been listed at Pages Needing Translation, but if it is not translated within two weeks, the article will be listed for deletion. Thank you. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Editatón Club de las 25 & Art+Feminism. Madrid, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. I don't know what's wrong... This is a meet-up page such this one on the same event around the world and the more that 40 events related inside this page that also have their own page. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/ArtAndFeminism --IdoiaSota (talk) 14:23, 24 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

IdoiaSota, I am an administrator here and I have deleted it. First of all, you put it on the English Wikipedia, not the Spanish Wikipedia (where I see you have also edited). Articles here must be in English. I became aware of your article because it was posted at a noticeboard for people who can read foreign languages to translate them into English, but the majority of such articles get deleted as mistakes. Articles are not automatically routed to the correct Wikipedia by the software. Secondly, like the example you cite above, Wikipedia:Meetup/ArtAndFeminism, this belongs in the Wikipedia namespace, not the article space; it is internal information for editors, not a part of the encyclopedia itself. Please create it at es:Wikipedia:Editatón Club de las 25 & Art+Feminism. Madrid (follow that link). Thanks!
I have given you a welcome template at the top of this page with links to pages on our policies and guidelines, including how to ask for help. I'm sorry about this false start and hope you will continue to contribute to both the English and the Spanish Wikipedias. Yngvadottir (talk) 14:42, 24 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.

I hope your editathon goes well, but do not again refactor others' comments, even though I am sure your job is more interesting than mine. Yngvadottir (talk) 22:40, 27 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
