Get the Picture[edit]

Because I thought it was unwanted information & the fact that it already diclaimed the fact that contestants do not win any cash in the main game rather than the bonus game.

Vandalism[edit]

Yes, I have the IRC bots in my toolkit, they work pretty well. Tawker 04:34, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the Best User Page Project[edit]

Let us try an experiment. Until further notice, the voting system will be open, using the method described in the Guidelines. This will make us understand how reliable the current system is and whether the project has a real possibility to expand into hundrends of users or not.

All users are encounaged to display the {{BestUserPage}} banner on their User Page.

All members all encouraged to display the {{BUP}} banner in their User Page, and also notify that the project has started.

We will refer to the votes for this first session as "March 2006" in the archive.

Thank you[edit]

Hello IanManka, thank you for you support in my RfA. I was promoted with a final count of 48/1/0! If you see me making any mistakes, let me know ASAP. -- WB 02:39, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Karmafist's manifesto[edit]

Just mentioning that he agreed to stop canvassing newbies, effective yesterday. (See User_talk:NSLE#You.27ve_Convinced_Me) NSLE (T+C) 03:22, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

2006 FIFA World Cup[edit]

It mentions nothing about those rankings and the draw, it just lists the team names and theior rankings of December... they should be updated.... unless you mention something about it on the page. Better yet, the Teams portion should be updated leading up to the World Cup and in the pot list the rankings at the time could be in brackets... just a thought.

The preceding unsigned comment was added by Robdurbar (talk • contribs) .

Rankings[edit]

The reason I made the change is that an anon had updated the rankings in january and not the text. I wasn't sure whether to update for Feb, or to revert to december, but went for the Feb one, for no paticular reason to be honest. I have replied more generally on the tournament's Talk page to gauge community opinion on this one. Robdurbar 22:16, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you[edit]

Thanks for the advice. I didn't notice the extra vandalization and thought I got it all in reverting it. I am kinda new to the vandal watch. --OrbitOne 05:08, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey,man[edit]

Hey, sup? Visit my talk page. Don't know who you are...Tigereye 53

Replying[edit]

I saw you in the hangman game place.Your name was the most...interesting. I'm new, and this site is CONFUSING. How do you get into a game, like hangman? Tigereye 53

Replying... again[edit]

Thnks for helping. My first question is, how do you join a hangman game? And, are there projects that you can work with a group on inside Wikipedia? Have you created any webpages on Wikipedia on your own(other than your user page)? So many questions... It'll be awesome if you answer all of these. One last question. Why did someone write you suck on your talk page, and who is Tawker? Two questions. So what? I might not be able to get on the computer for a few days. Tigereye 53

Do you feel it's worth applying for a FA status for FIFA World Cup? I think the article is quite good, but during the peer review it was noted that the history section could do with more expansion, so maybe more research is needed. (I'm looking forward to see this article on the Main Page on June 6th.) Conscious 11:01, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've nominated it (probably not too eloquently, add more if you wish). Keeping fingers crossed... Conscious 20:28, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome. However, I still think the article could use a bit more work ... not only the culture section I suggested but maybe a politics section as well (things like Mussolini's influence on the 1938 Cup, Emir Sabah's decision to personally argue with the ref at Valladolid in 1982, the role of soccer victories in propping up the Argentinian and Brazilian military governments etc. This might be worthy of a daughter article too, ultimately). Thanks[edit]

Thank you so much!!! It really helps. How long have you been on this site? You seem very used to the Wiki language. I probably won't be on for a few days, so if you send a message I might not answerTigereye 53

I was NOT vandalizing[edit]

Are you referring to the Pricing Game articles? If so, that is not vandalism.

Takes1-Tuno1 and 2 anons[edit]

I am totally in agreement: User:Takes1-Tuno1 (contribs), User:24.217.177.188 (contribs), and User:24.207.210.139 (contribs) are all likely the same person. If vandalism continues, the evidence for all three accounts is likely enough to merit a WP:AIV. --Csjoiner 04:27, 26 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User 24.71.223.140[edit]

This user has today vandalized the Static-X page at 18:10. As you gave a last warning, I thought you should be made aware of this. Cheers, Lion King 20:37, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey dude, I made your Userbox here: User:UBX/24 2. I just think the "Who are you working for" bit it too classic to change. I made it as pretty as possible, but I don't think you can change font like that in mid-UB with Wiki markup. Chernicky 23:58, 28 February 2006 (UTC) (UTC)[reply]

Hangman[edit]

Feel free to post another guess; just don't expect me to update until the morning (or at least some others have had a chance to guess as well). -- Andy Saunders 05:22, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Jeopardy![edit]

Hey - I see that you were on Jeopardy!; I'm kinda curious as to: a) when you were on; and b) if you're familiar at all with the J! Archive. Let me know! -- Andy Saunders 05:30, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I fired off an email to you - let me know if you don't get it. Andy Saunders 05:58, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Saw the show in the Archive -- it looks great - except that the "what is"/"who is"/etc. part of responses don't go into the Archive. Andy Saunders 07:41, 4 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks![edit]

Thanks for your kind words! While I've been a member for over two years, only within the last few months have I really got into the project. Here's to all the little guys, and a million more! Nach0king 09:28, 2 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

FIFA World Cup not FA[edit]

I tried to complain to Raul654, who removed it, but to no avail. So sad. I thought we fixed it all, and even got a support vote, and it's only been five days. Conscious 06:45, 4 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
