A tag has been placed on Big Six (English Football) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Hello and thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. I have recently observed that you have made slight changes to the article on Typhoon Nesat. I am so sorry to say that i couldnt stop myself from reverting your edits. Please note, that the Saffir–Simpson Hurricane Scale (SSHS), or the Saffir–Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale (SSHWS), classifies hurricanesWestern Hemisphere tropical cyclones that exceed the intensities of tropical depressions and tropical storms — into five categories distinguished by the intensities of their sustained winds. To be classified as a hurricane, a tropical cyclone must have maximum sustained winds of at least 74 mph (33 m/s; 64 kn; 119 km/h) (Category 1). The highest classification in the scale, Category 5, is reserved for storms with winds exceeding 155 mph (69 m/s; 135 kn; 249 km/h).

As i see, you have changed cat1 to cat2 and i am extremely sorry to say, this could not be accepted. Per the SSHS, Storms of Category 2 have a minimum wind speed of 85 knots (157 km/h; 98 mph) and they are strong enough to lift a house and inflict damage upon poorly constructed doors and windows. Vegetation, poorly constructed signs, and piers can receive considerable damage. Mobile homes, whether anchored or not, are typically damaged, and many manufactured homes also suffer structural damage. Small craft in unprotected anchorages may break their moorings. Extensive to near-total power outages and scattered loss of potable water are likely, possibly lasting many days.

Typhoon Nesat according to the JTWC, is currently only a Category 1 Tropical Cyclone. It has a windspeed of 80 knots (150 km/h; 92 mph). Category 1 storms usually cause no significant structural damage; however, they can topple unanchored mobile homes, as well as uproot or snap trees. Poorly attached roof shingles or tiles can blow off. Coastal flooding and pier damage are often associated with Category 1 storms. Power outages are typically widespread to extensive, sometimes lasting several days. Even though it is the least intense type of hurricane, the storm can still produce plenty of widespread damage and can be a life-threatening storm.

Also, to practice editing, go to the sandbox and click the "Edit" tab. When you click the "Edit" tab, that will open an editing window containing the text for that page. Type in something fun and interesting, or just replace words for your own words. Now click the Save page button and see what you have done! First, any time you edit a page, it is considered good etiquette (or "Wikiquette") to enter an explanation of your changes in the Edit summary box, which you'll find below the edit window. It's okay for your explanation to be quite short. For example, if you are making a spelling correction, you might just type "typo". Also, if the change you have made to a page is minor, such as correcting a spelling or grammar error, it's helpful if you check the box "This is a minor edit". (This box is only available if you have logged in.) For your sandbox edit, you probably want an edit summary such as "Testing". Second, you should always use the Show preview button. After you've entered a change in the edit box for the sandbox, click the Show preview button instead of Save Page. This lets you see what the page will look like after your edit, before you actually save. We all make mistakes; this feature helps you catch them before other people see them. Using Show Preview before saving also lets you try format changes and other edits without cluttering up the page history. Do not forget to save your edits after previewing, though!

I hope my loooong lecture was helpful. Regards. --Anirudh Emani (talk) 15:49, 26 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Copying & paste move[edit]

I have deleted 2013–14 Liverpool FC season as a copy & paste of 2013–14 Liverpool F.C. season; I am going to assume good faith and hope you did not make the move in order to try and bypass page protections. GiantSnowman 09:13, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

But would you consider giving the others' right to edit 2013–14 Liverpool F.C. season so that we can update the info more frequently?

Until the dispute is settled you should make edit requests at the article talk page. GiantSnowman 09:29, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
already made, and btw, what kind of dispute is that? It causes lots of inconvenience for us, and we cannot do any updating, seems the one who locks don't update frequently.

Infobox update and statistics update[edit]

Hi. I just wanted to let you know that when making updates to something in a infobox you should update ENTIRE infobox and the date it was updated. With this update you made you only updated top scorer and at the bottom of infobox it says "updated 24 January" which is wrong. Such edits are considered disruptive and will be reverted and you risk getting warned. Please also make sure to verify all of the statistics you update with the sources for each stat. Thank you. QED237 (talk) 15:35, 29 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This also applies to other edits such as this. You must update at the bottom (or top) of each stats section. QED237 (talk) 15:48, 16 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

March 2014[edit]

If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism. As I have told you before, do not only update Liverpool players, upidate entire table according to source or leave it QED237 (talk) 23:09, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

June 2018[edit]
