Spanish Speaker Needed:Mexico[edit]

This is a wonderful start for the article. The author gave us a good link with that encyclopedia page. Unfortunately, I don't speak Spanish, and wouldn't entrust a Wikipedia article to a computer translator.
A willing Spanish speaker would be greatly appreciated to gather information from that link.

Hi I am the author! thanks for your appreciative comments on my new Mexican municipal articles. I am currently setting up all of the municipalities of Mexico see Wikipedia:WikiProject Mexico/State templates. Just as well then I speak Spanish!! See articles like Xalapa etc. Once they are all started later they can be fully expanded like this. There is no reason why in a few years we can't have GA class articles on every one of them! P.S. you can use google translate to help you translate from spanish. If you aren't convinced ask a spanish speaker to proof read it to see if it has been done properly. Naturally this is the only decent source on these places on the web, being in the Latin world. Count Blofeld 20:17, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New deal for page patrollers[edit]

Hi Herb143,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
