Crossposted from my talk page: On square miles and square kilometers and population density[edit]

A square kilometer is much smaller than a square mile so there will be less people on a square kilometer. However here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._states_by_population_density it is the reverse.

Yeah. I actually knew that, but I "got my right and my left confused", so when the numbers for people by mile came out larger than people by km, I didn't notice it was wrong. Sean.Roach (talk) 20:32, 3 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
