Hello, Happyboy23. Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions! I'm Arctic Kangaroo, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge.

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:
  Fight vandalism
Be a WikiFairy or a WikiGnome
  Help contribute to articles

  Perform maintenance tasks
Become a member of a project that interests you
  Help design new templates

Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to this (your talk) page, and a timestamp.

The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Adoption[edit]

Hi Happyboy23,

I noticed that you have a preference for editing articles such as Gifted Education Programme (Singapore) and 2013 Singapore haze, which I myself have an interest in. Would you be keen to work with me on these articles?

Happy editing!--Lionratz (talk) 15:16, 5 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Lionratz, Why not, normally I would only edit if I spot a small typo whenever I use Wikipedia (I have since moved on to time eating Reddit :P) but sure!

Sorry for the late reply! I am really happy to have you on board and hope that we will have a fruitful partnership together. I have created your adoption page; this will be where we can work together (so that I do not clog up your talk page haha). Do add this page to your watchlist! Lastly, I hope that you will find editing Wikipedia as fun as I do and choose to contribute more to this project.
Hope to hear from you soon!--Lionratz (talk) 07:31, 13 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Adopt-a-user[edit]

Hello. This is a courtesy note to inform you that I have removed the "adopt me" template from your User page. You have not been active on Wikipedia for some time (May 2015), and I notice another template on your talk page indicating you had been adopted by Lionratz. Its presence misleads others into thinking that you are still seeking to be adopted and to be guided by another editor under the Wikipedia:Adopt-a-user scheme. Obviously, you are completely free to reinsert it if you return to active editing and want to seek adoption again. (Just 'undo' my edit in the history of your user page to put it back). For simple questions about editing, just ask any of us at The Teahouse. Regards from the UK, Nick Moyes (talk) 11:22, 28 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
