If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Kemo the Blaxican, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
    and you must always:
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

I see no conflict of interest because I know the truth and correct info. It is better than guessing. Just because I am familar with the man does not mean there is a conflict of interest. I run hip hop web sites and I am a VP of a record label, of course I am going to know people and that knowledge of those people does not mean that there is a conflict, it does mean that the information provided is correct, and isn't that what this is about - current and correct informationHHRB (talk) 02:55, 18 January 2008 (UTC)HHRB[reply]

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you.

Spam[edit]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites that you are affiliated with, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Thanks for your reference in Pac's Life, but it's not from a reliable source - rather, it's from an unofficial, unreliable fan site. Please re-add the reference using either his main, Official site, or a respectable news site. Thanks. HawkerTyphoon 22:02, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thankyou[edit]

Thanks for the reference from the law firm, I've double checked it with the Law Society and they say it checks out as a Foreign Law Firm. Apologies for the scepticism, but what you gave me has happily satisifed any queries anyone may have. If you come across anymore trouble regarding reliable sources, you can get in touch with me at this address, and I will do everything in my power to prove them wrong. Your site, TLA, is now a reliable source, by any definition of the word. Well done! HawkerTyphoon 23:42, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Thug Life Army Records, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Powers T 15:14, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your username[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's username policy. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?

I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.

You have several options freely available to you:

Thank you. The problem here is the TLA and your connection with Thug Life Army. Our rules prohibit names that tie an editor too closely to a company or organization. We value you and your expertise in hip-hop; but you might want to get a new handle without TLA in it. --Orange Mike | Talk 18:32, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am not real sure how to get at you with this page but I had my user name problems over a year ago and Richard Symonds helped me straighten it out. I have alot of posts under Tupac. I had the lawyers for Tupac get ahold of Richard Symonds and explain how the information I put forth on that subject is correct.

I am not sure what you would like me to do about my user name

Please let me know your thoughts and concerns. The Thug Life Army Records post is being talked about on the talk page for that post and I am fine with waiting until more things happen with that label before it is listed here

Please get back to me and let me know your thoughts and concerns Robert2TLARobert2TLA (talk) 18:48, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am willing to change my user name. I have checked and have one already. Can you switch it so all my other posts under my old name stay with me?

Just go to Wikipedia:Changing username and follow the guidelines there. They can't merge two accounts, but that's about all I know. --Orange Mike | Talk 19:13, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orangemike: done and I am now HHRB. Anymore hoops you can think of to get me to jump thru just let me know. I have brown hair hope that is ok. I used that name for over 2 years and you are the first to whine about it, no reason why = thanks

Hip-hop related articles don't get a lot of attention here, that might be part of it. Alternatively, until you edited stuff about Thug Life Army, nobody may have made the connection? Anyway, peace and good luck.--Orange Mike | Talk 14:30, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:TLARLogo.gif[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:TLARLogo.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 02:04, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I will take it down. We have a reciept for it but it was never copyrighted. I will take it down until they resolve that issue. They can provide a reciept where it was bought and paid for but no copyright. Thanks HHRBHHRB (talk) 19:56, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What is this Vandalism mention for? I have done no such thing. Everything I have posted is verifiable, If you can give me an example I would appreciate it. Thanks HHRB (talk) 01:00, 18 January 2008 (UTC)HHRB[reply]

The Music Barnstar
For sticking at improving Wikipedia's music articles despite encountering difficulties from vandals and the well-meaning, if stubborn, community. Well done - I hope you contribute even more to the project; your expertise is a wonderful addition! Chase me ladies, I'm the Cavalry (talk) 23:17, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
