August 2008[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Nationwide (TV series). Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Toddst1 (talk) 18:43, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Page reversions[edit]

Hi, your reversions of several edits made by other contributors seem to have been a bit hit-and-miss. There were some fair revisions made to pages, such as [1], which you seem to have reverted for no particular reason. As I mentioned in the edit summary, direct links are preferable rather than link redirects. It would also help if you left an edit summary for those revisions you feel are wrong when you revert them, justifying the reason for doing so. May I also remind you of the need to heed the three-revert rule, whereby you may not revert the same edit three times within a 24-hour period. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Thank you. Additional source and Youtube links[edit]

Hi, I have posted an official request at Wikipedia:Editor assistance/Requests#Possible edit war regarding Additional source content and Youtube video linking and hoping other editors(possible admin) would come to help, and before that happens, please refrain from removing any links from External links and Additional source without any talkpage discussion. Thanks. Please remember this is not Chinese wikipedia, there are certain rules in English wikipedia that we all need to stick to. Arilang talk 08:39, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:FlickrPhotosServerBlocked.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:FlickrPhotosServerBlocked.JPG. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. FASTILYsock(TALK) 03:42, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

China Southern Airlines headquarters[edit]

Hi David! Do you do photo requests?

Someone needs to photograph the China Southern Airlines headquarters. It is at:

  • 278 Jichang Road, Guangzhou 510405, Guangdong Province, the Peoples Republic of China
  • 广东省广州市白云区机场路278号

Would you be willing to do this? Thanks, WhisperToMe (talk) 00:04, 23 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disambiguation link notification for July 26[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jardine Matheson, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Canton. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Petit Petit Muse (Cantonese spelling problem)![edit]

Dear David Wong

I need some help on the Cantonese transliteration or transcription of Petit from Petit Petit Muse (Korean: 쁘띠쁘띠 뮤즈; Traditional Chinese: 百變雙子星 (HK & MO) / 雙胞胎姐妹花 (TW)) which contains the scene from episode 1 when there's a Korean and Traditional Chinese text "쁘띠쁘띠 뮤즈" and "(砵? 砵? 繆斯女神)"! The text "砵?" which is a Cantonese transliteration or transcription of the French word Petit that contains a flute-like symbol is very hard to type on the Chinese internet but if unknown is the Unicode version of latter Chinese character had ever existed.

Here's the link.--CE040295 (talk) 11:59, 21 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
