December 2016[edit]

Hello, I'm Marvellous Spider-Man. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Judaism's view of Jesus seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Marvellous Spider-Man 17:56, 7 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I've reverted your addition again. Your source appears to be the Chovot HaLevavot, which is a single writer's work and does not appear to have the position of a central tenet of Judaism. Further, your interpretation of Bahya ibn Paquda's words to apply them to Jesus would appear to constitute an original synthesis of ideas not present in the source material. At the very least, your addition requires discussion before it can be added to the page. Please take the matter up at Talk:Judaism's view of Jesus. Once again, I've reverted a change you've made based on the Chovot HaLevavot. You personally may have a great devotion to this work, but there does not appear to be any evidence that this work is held as a central work of Jewish theology. Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 12:36, 30 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
