Cobain's death[edit]

Would you mind taking that to the talk page? I'd like some explanation on your most recent addition. It might be entirely fine, but that's too big an addition of new material to analyze alone. dannymusiceditor oops 05:12, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

See my comment on your talk page. But yeah I don't think what I posted is controversial in any way, it's purely a fact-based analysis into what the toxicology report figure of "1.52 mg/L" might mean in terms of actual forensic science. I want to honor his memory and finally shed some properly researched light into this area for the benefit of all the rest of you. Put over 100 hours into this research and I can assure you it's bulletproof. Gistya (talk) 05:33, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You don't think you could have broken it down into smaller pieces first? Oh well. No matter. After reading it, my real question is if that much detail is necessary for this article. I have no doubt in my mind that this is all reliable, but I'm not sure the extent you took it is exactly encyclopedic. I'm not an expert in this particular portion of the subject area, so I'd have to ask around. But I do have my doubts. dannymusiceditor oops 05:47, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'm open to any suggested edits. I tried to give just enough information for folks to understand the difference between the main kinds of morphine assay, and why this distinction is important for the interpretation of the information released by SPD. It was a lot of effort to boil this down to just five paragraphs but I will review it again and see if it can be further improved.

I have also submitted a FOIA-type request to SPD to ask for clarification on the morphine count figure. If they can tell us which type of assay was used then I can edit out most of that section. Gistya (talk) 23:33, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
