Donnie Davies[edit]

Just thought I'd let you know that I nominated the article for a deletion reversal which you can weigh in on here: WP:DRV Thanks! SquatGoblin 04:17, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for weighing in the on the subject and providing those links. I added those to the argument I provided.--SquatGoblin 22:27, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. I'm glad you posted the deletion review -- I felt it was better to let someone else put it forward since I was involved in creating the deleted article. Gerta 22:37, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like Donnie Davies has been moved to WP:AFD under February 2, 2007 if you have continuing interest in this subject. Thanks for all your participation thus far. You've been helpful. Please let me know if you have any other sources or suggestions!--SquatGoblin 14:33, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hopefully my edits will stand to more Afd reviews, but if you have time, it'd probably help if we can thicken it out. I've made a few more separations for categories that I think fit, but please go ahead and change as you see. I think it's important we stick with and be consistent with the idea that this article is more about the controversy than the person. --SquatGoblin 15:35, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: JoeMyGod post[edit]

Maybe I was a bit hasty in the assumption, but both comments were unsigned and had the same attitude regarding editing and contributing being that it's not worthwhile. Then there's also the fact that User: 138.163.0.38 deleted a comment left by Thunderbunny that, although a sarcasm, hasn't been removed. My search result for that IP address also turned up New York City and not a navy base in San Diego. IP addresses are sometimes bounced depending on the ISP, but the methods I'm using traces it back to NYC. 138.163.0.38 also has a long history of vandalism while JoeMyGod is a completely new user.

Speaking of IP addresses though, for the circumstantial evidence section (and maybe we should reword it to speculation/speculative evidence) we could either reference the Washington Blade or use a direct reference to the WhoIsIt database. What do you think?--SquatGoblin 03:46, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
