8-track[edit]

Please detail on Talk:8-track cartridge just which citations you are looking for. Most of this is well documented on the web, and we can probably find it pretty quickly. --Blainster 22:14, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I added what I think you wanted. Check it out. --Blainster 21:24, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tree identification[edit]

Hi,
Could you take another look at my tree identification question on the Reference Desk? You replied very quickly after I first posted the question, to note that my picture link was broken. I have now fixed the link, but you have not posted again; did you miss my update?

You also suggested that I use a dedicated file-hosting site. I think that my picture has enough value to be posted on the wiki, regardless of its significance to my question. I've placed your talk page on my watchlist, so you may reply right here, to keep the discussion all in one place. --Smack (talk) 19:14, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your edits[edit]

Thank you for your very helpful edits about anime in crucifixion. --Tryptofish (talk) 22:03, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome! I think the article is a little cleaner now, as there used to be so much listed there.

Reposting of Galileoscope[edit]

A tag has been placed on Galileoscope requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article and put a note on the page's discussion page saying why this article should stay. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of continuing to recreate the page. Thank you. Nominating AfDs[edit]

Please follow this process to nominate an AfD. Thanks, MrKIA11 (talk) 22:48, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Thanks Gary for that clarification! Whew, and I suggested that someone should feel free to start an RfC! I guess the information superhighway is paved with good intentions. --Tryptofish (talk) 14:37, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to know what your advice would be. Please take a look at User talk:Explicit#File:Sailor Mercury.jpg, and let me know what you think would be best to do next. Among the possibilities would be to take it to WP:Deletion review, or to use, instead, the images from FullMetal Alchemist#Manga. At this point, I'm asking you, TJRC, and Elen. Thanks. --Tryptofish (talk) 17:22, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Instead of arguing about a single illustration, I think it would be a better use of time to improve the text of the article's other sections, especially the one on modern art. We could include information about editors removing crucifixion-related imagery from manga that is to be sold in the US, in which case the FMA images might be a useful illustration. Thanks. --Tryptofish (talk) 22:04, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback request[edit]

Hello Gary2863, I have granted rollback rights to your account in accordance with your request. You are correct that rollback is for reverting vandalism/spam/blatantly unconstructive edits, and that using it to revert anything else (by revert-warring or reverting edits you disagree with) can lead to it being removed from your account...sometimes without any warning, depending on the admin who becomes aware of any misuse. If you think an edit should require a reason for reverting, then don't use rollback and instead, use a manual edit summary. For practice, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 03:02, 22 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
