I'm very sorry to say that most of what was just restored was plagiarized from Peter Jordan's article. It should not have been restored. It is Jordan's original research but for an academic piece and not this wiki article.GWULindsey (talk) 22:19, 25 April 2020 (UTC)GWULindsey
- @Materialscientist: - can you elaborate on this? I know that GWULindsey had concerns over the reliability of John Rudlin's Commedia dell'Arte.
- GWULindsey, it looks like part of the concern would be over sentences like this:
- This is another possible historical origin for the character as actors might have played to this real life situation to play Pantalone.
- This was unsourced and comes across as us making our own judgement based on sourcing, even if it didn't explicitly state this. Any interpretations should be attributed to the person making them. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:22, 27 April 2020 (UTC)
