red links[edit]
It is quite OK to have red links in a Wikipedia article provided that the topic of a red link seems likely to be sufficiently notable for a Wikipedia article. As many of the presidents are blue links (i.e. have an article), I think there is a strong likelihood that the redlinked presidents are also "likely" to be notable and may have a Wikipedia article in time. Only remove the red linking if you feel very confident that this person would never justify a Wikipedia article. We have a formal policy on this WP:RED which says more or less what I just did. Citations vs external links[edit]
Instead of adding external links, use those URLs to make a citation at the end of the sentence or paragraph (as appropriate). As you are using the Visual editor, you make a citation by clicking your mouse at the end of the sentence/para (after any punctuation), then Cite > Manual > website and fill in the fields (as many as are applicable), then Insert.
