Hello Frood. Thanks for your cool work... Not sure how to cite. Here is the info sir. 2 year investigation. For Esto August 2015

Frood, how can I send you the scanned newspaper? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nvrsadi (talkcontribs) 00:13, 1 September 2019 (UTC)

@Nvrsadi: I'm going to point you over to the Teahouse. There's a bunch of cool editors over there who will be able to help you with this. It can be a bit of a tricky subject when you're dealing with living subjects. - Frood (talk!) 03:28, 1 September 2019 (UTC)

references for Gowri Habba article, English wikipedia

Hi Frood, thanks for leaving me a message! I'm trying to find references from reliable sources for the article Gowri Habba (in response to 2019-08-29T21:01:33‎ Jonathansammy talk contribs‎ 7,997 bytes -424‎ Undid revision 912995641 by Trivpoch (talk) not considered reliable sources for Wikipedia. Please look for academic sources). The State Gazetteer is a reliable source, as it is published by the Government Press and is a reference for encyclopedias. If there was a problem in the text entered in the citation that caused you to delete it, please let me know, Thanks! P.S I'm new to editing wiki, apologies if I made mistakes in the talkpage!

@Trivpoch: sorry about that! I think I just hit the wrong key when going through edits. - Frood (talk!) 04:36, 1 September 2019 (UTC)

external link – punctuation error

I corrected a punctuation error in an external link. I did not add a new external link. You merely reinstated the punctuation error and you left the link intact. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:445:437f:fe66:3d92:a025:963f:3683 (talkcontribs)

Shoot, sorry! Thanks for letting me know. - Frood (talk!) 04:57, 5 September 2019 (UTC)

Hello Frood

Dude, The link was dead. You can even check this page.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sony_Mobile

In [86]. I just changed the URL because it was permanently dead — Preceding unsigned comment added by John Herry 1 (talkcontribs) 03:05, 6 September 2019 (UTC)

@John Herry 1: the site you linked to isn't relevant to the citation at all. There are almost certainly better references than some seemingly random Android blog that's only existed for 74 days. - Frood (talk!) 03:13, 6 September 2019 (UTC)

" DACA " Revisions

Using the word "TOP" preceding "EXPERTS" exerts an opinion. You can't be wrong about your opinion. Fact-Checkers agree. Jimmy disagrees. Sally concurs. Dave has no opinion. I could cite opinion pieces endlessly on this one article. Creating a political hit piece on Trump isn't what this site is about. Form your own opinions.

If you disagree with me and you have admin privileges on this site, give me your twitter handle and we'll go at it eh?

I did not exert my personal opinion. I removed yours. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:100D:B16D:729D:B12B:F628:FBF8:98AD (talk) 03:38, 6 September 2019 (UTC)

You removed a statement with two citations. The journal article was written by an expert in a peer reviewed journal. Quotation marks mean that it was a quotation. It's quoting Donald Trump's words. - Frood (talk!) 03:50, 6 September 2019 (UTC)

As a historical and ongoing article I'd prefer as a reader to not be inundated with people's jabs at politicians as an obvious political attack. My changes were trivial at best, most certainly honest, and not politically motivated at all. It's clear your political opinion. I'm done with Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:100D:B16D:729D:B12B:F628:FBF8:98AD (talk) 04:31, 6 September 2019 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for September 8

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! episodes (2019), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mary Wilson (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 07:30, 8 September 2019 (UTC)

This is an attack page created by a suspected sockpuppet who I have reported. Please delete. Wordswasted (talk) 21:26, 8 September 2019 (UTC)

@Wordswasted: yep, you're right, definitely looks like a troll. I'd just suggest you wait for a clerk to take care of it and they can decide whether or not it should be deleted. - Frood (talk!) 21:40, 8 September 2019 (UTC)

Bro, why you revert my last edit of the Variable interest entity article?

Bro, why you revert my last edit of the Variable interest entity article?, I deleted all segments that violated copyright!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mr Wikimaker (talkcontribs)

Looks like there's still a fair amount that was taken word-for-word. copyvio checker. - Frood (talk!) 02:02, 9 September 2019 (UTC)

My mother tongue is not English, could you help me to paraphrase the article better? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mr Wikimaker (talkcontribs)

I'm afraid I don't know enough about the topic to help you with that. Sorry. - Frood (talk!) 02:09, 9 September 2019 (UTC)

Holy smokes!

You're so fast at the vandalism reverting that you've already rolled it back as soon as I've seen it! That's incredible. If you ever feel like teaching someone else how to get so quick, I'd be a willing student. But if not, you still deserve an extra kudos for your speed. (If that's okay to leave here. :D) OwnstheBeagles (talk) 02:28, 10 September 2019 (UTC)

@OwnstheBeagles: Thanks! I use Huggle, which certainly speed things up. That's only available for people with rollback, so you'll need to wait a while before using that. However, I would suggest checking out Twinkle once you're autoconfirmed - that should happen in the next couple days. Just be careful when you use it. - Frood (talk!) 02:47, 10 September 2019 (UTC)
Thank you! I'm going to be away for a week, but I'll probably check in, and if I can, read up on the links you left. If not, I definitely will when I come back. I appreciate it! OwnstheBeagles (talk) 02:48, 10 September 2019 (UTC)

Why did you say the new york times was not a trusted source? I mean I think they are fake news but all you leftist lovers eat that up.

Even if the new york times can have it is credibility compromised there are 100 of people who bring issues of free speech when it comes to laws that forbid wearing things such as acab. Tell me 1 good reason my valid reference was cause for me getting a threat to be blocked? — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheRedTomahawk (talkcontribs) 02:21, 11 September 2019 (UTC)

I think you know that it was referring to your edit on Nazi gun control argument. - Frood (talk!) 02:23, 11 September 2019 (UTC)

Thanks for the info

It is fair enough. I was always annoyed with teachers that attack wikipedia as if their bias sources where so superior. Most dictionaries are politicized. I will try to provide better references in the future. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheRedTomahawk (talkcontribs) 02:32, 11 September 2019 (UTC)

Fair enought.

I did cite reddit as the source.I will cite something more credible — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheRedTomahawk (talkcontribs) 02:34, 11 September 2019 (UTC)

What?

Why did you add me to this sock investigation, and more importantly why did you not leave me a notice? I have no clue who that is, and recently created an account after editing through my IP address. Lupin VII (talk) 08:43, 11 September 2019 (UTC)

@Lupin VII: I hope you can understand why it seemed suspicious to me. The Long-term abuse page for them says that one of the things that often happens is that they create good hand/bad hand accounts and reverts the their own edits almost immediately upon signing up. I didn't leave a notice because often times for LTA cases, leaving notices for (suspected) socks only exasperates the situation. - Frood (talk!) 19:29, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
It's disheartening to be accused of being a sock upon signing up, but I understand your suspicion now. I hope you'll apologize after I am vindicated. :) Lupin VII (talk) 08:24, 15 September 2019 (UTC)
The verdict is in[1], and I'm still here. Can I get that apology now? Lupin VII (talk) 16:08, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
Yes, I apologize. Admittedly it was a bit of a stretch. Thank you for your work! - Frood (talk!) 17:42, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
No hard feelings. :) Lupin VII (talk) 02:31, 19 September 2019 (UTC)

Re: Satyavati Edit

I guess it's difficult for those to understand who believe that all relations are romantic and lustful. But the relations of Satyavati and those who she cared for children with, are considered, to be those of what you might call "immaculate conception". For the entire article to use the words "sexual intercourse" and other lustful terms, are not only insulting to those who practice Hinduism and know the truth but to those who are trying to learn what the truth is. Again, maybe think about it in terms of Jesus' father and Mary. Would you like it if someone graphically described the conception of Jesus? Right, I thought you wouldn't. Because Jesus was conceived without physical relations. So have the same respect for other religions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.224.99.133 (talkcontribs)

Anti-vandalism work

Information icon Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to 2020 United States Senate election in Kentucky: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Amp71 (talk) 16:35, 21 September 2019 (UTC)

they weren't warned because i already reported them on WP:AIV. - Frood (talk!) 16:40, 21 September 2019 (UTC)
Absolutely no offense/disrespect/belittling was intended. In that particular case it does look like that persistent IP vandal has gotten plenty of warnings and knows exactly what he/she is doing. Amp71 (talk) 01:05, 22 September 2019 (UTC)

Account creator granted

After reviewing your request for the "accountcreator" permission, I have enabled the flag on your account. Keep in mind these things:

  • The account creator right removes the limit on the maximum number of new accounts that can be created in a 24-hour period.
  • The account creator right is not a status symbol. If it remains unused, it is likely to be removed. Abuse of the account creator right will result in its removal by an administrator.

If you no longer require the right, let me know, or ask any other administrator. Drop a note on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of the account creator right. Happy editing! — JJMC89(T·C) 17:17, 22 September 2019 (UTC)

Man flu revert

Thank you for taking care of it. This isn't the first time what seems to be a private comment about/to/for "David" has been added. Is someone trying to send private messages? Cheers! Shir-El too 06:46, 24 September 2019 (UTC)

Sockpuppetry?

I have a concern that the two users Stephenkingsoldmeweedbehinda711 and Stephenkingsafurry (there was probably another one but I don't remember) are the same person. Would that be true, or would someone have to do CheckUser to be sure? ∞southernkangarootalk∞ 16:46, 26 September 2019 (UTC)

@SouthernKangaroo: almost definitely the same.  Sounds like a duck quacking into a megaphone to me - Frood (talk!) 21:21, 26 September 2019 (UTC)
