Date-stamping OCD[edit]

Littering articles with exact dates like that (especially in the lede) is just plain crappy writing. It makes no difference to the typical reader whether it was June 5, June 1, or June 23. Even saying "June" is recentist trivia; all that someone skimming the lede needs to know is what year it happened. Yes, it's common on Wikipedia to stamp everything with specific dates, because Wikipedia is written by poor writers following equally poor examples. Citing an article that got "featured article" status and insisting that all articles should be written down to that standard is frankly absurd. Sorry for trying to lead by example... I'll let the article stew in mediocrity from here on out. -Jason A. Quest (talk) 01:27, 20 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for June 1[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Wachowskis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Showtime (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 12:30, 1 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The Matrix 4[edit]

Restore the page to how it was prior. The structure of the page is much much messier in your version and uses a lot of unreliable sources. Rusted AutoParts 22:36, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, the structure is the same. Unless you mean something different with "structure". As for the sources, I have actually gone through them one by one. Freemanukem (talk) 22:39, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The way it is written is what I mean. The previous version of the content was written in a much cleaner way and I would like it restored. Rusted AutoParts 22:41, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I am asking you to do it so that this doesn’t become an edit war. Rusted AutoParts 22:42, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
