Speedy deletion nomination of Charlotte Townsend-Gault[edit]

A tag has been placed on Charlotte Townsend-Gault requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://ahva.ubc.ca/persons/charlotte-townsend-gault/. Please help me with...how to quote text properly in a new article - I tried in my first article and could not attach a citation to the block quoted text sections. The page has been deleted, and I understand why. I'd like to try again without quotations. Thanks.

The short answer is: Don't quote. There's almost never a reason to use lengthy quotes. Instead, we should summarize the facts that independent sources report in our own words, without embellishment.
