Greetings[edit]

I saw your note about the Bobby Tench photo. If you are interested in the photos for the Wikipedia pages, I can give you a very short run-down on how to get photos uploaded which are acceptable here. Just leave me a note and I can do that. I've uploaded well over a thousand images. If I had the access to Bobby Tench, I'd surely have taken his photo! This is an incomplete list of my uploads:

List of photos uploaded to Wikimedia Commons
Photos uploaded to Wikimedia Commons by Leahtwosaints

I used to maintain a list of photos of musicians that I uploaded via Creative Commons to Wikimedia Commons on my user page, but after uploading about 625 (very few are multiple pictures of the same person) I decided to place them on their own special page
Currently, the list stands at more than 1,200.

What I think is best, is to revert the change attempt that you made to remove the photo. I'm not good with computers, and generally will ask others with talents from either the en.Wikipedia, or Commons (which is where all photos with acceptable licenses for the Wikipedias in all languages should be uploaded). I myself don't know how to remove the watermarks left by the photographers-- I always ask them in advance to do that before uploading. Since I see that you uploaded the photo- and it appears you are the photographer. If you have the photo on a website like Flickr, there's a form that can easily upload your photo to Commons. Were you successful in removing your info from the photo? If so, here is the information about that: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:UploadWizard (It is a new thing just begun for uploading photos- I never use it.) I use the old form, but the photos are not mine. This might help you as a starting place. Let me know. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 11:04, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
