Grammar corrections[edit]

Thanks for making your grammar corrections, but in some cases, your edits introduce as many problems as they resolve. For example, in this edit, you correctly changed ratings of news outlets has reached an all-time low to ratings of news outlets have reached an all-time low, but in the same sentence, you change credibility ratings to credit ratings, but the article is talking about the credibility of the journalism sources, not their credit ratings. Similarly, in the same edit, you changed centres to centers several times, despite that fact that Wikipedia has no preference for American vs British English, so existing spellings should not be changed just to change them. Please take care not to introduce new errors while fixing old ones. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 20:49, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Exploremypcmacbook: Are you using some sort of grammar correcting tool such as Grammarly? Please do not use any such automated grammar tools on Wikipedia. They are known to cause issues, misinterpret the intended meaning of words, or in some cases just literally introduce grammar errors rather than fixing them. If you continue making such changes it may be viewed as disruption. -- ferret (talk) 18:37, 13 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Exploremypcmacbook, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 12:23, 14 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
