Hurricane Lorena (2019) moved to draft space[edit]

Hello! I see that you removed the redirect to Hurricane Lorena (2019), expanded the article, and added a link to it on 2019 Pacific hurricane season. However, the article as it is now is not ready to be in main-space due to the lack of information it has as of September 19. Thus, I have moved it to draft space. When you think it's ready to be in main-space, you can move it yourself or ask me to move it. Cheers! INeedSupport :V 22:49, 19 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:24, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Template:2020 Pacific hurricane season buttons requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Template clearly violates WP:CRYSTAL, season does not start until May 2020 and this template is usually created when the first tropical system forms.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. A tag has been placed on Category:2020 Pacific hurricane season requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

December 2019[edit]

Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Hello. I believe you have been warned before not to make unsourced edits on tropical cyclone articles (including a final warning). After your recent disruption on "2019 Pacific typhoon season", you were reported to an admin. I would like to remind you to refrain from making such edits henceforth, or you may be permanently blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thanks. JavaHurricane 11:59, 31 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Administrators' Noticeboard for Incidents, January 2020[edit]

Blocked[edit]

I've indefinitely blocked you for disruptive editing. You've shown no improvement in your edits since your 2-week block in April 2019. Again, you have been brought to ANI, and like last time you were brought to ANI, you have not participated in the discussion about your conduct. You persist in adding unsourced/WP:OR content. There is evidence of section-blanking and general incompetence. Finally, this is a collaborative project, and you almost wholly fail to communicate with other editors. See WP:GAB for your appeal rights.--Bbb23 (talk) 16:18, 12 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Cyclone Kyarr has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unnotable except the fact its strong, no impact on land, fits easily in the 2019 North Indian Ocean cyclone season article.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Notice

The article Tropical cyclones in 2014 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article is obviously incomplete, and has been incomplete since it was created in December 2018. It appears to reflect a plan by a task force to create articles on years that summarize all tropical cyclone activity around the world, but it appears to have been abandoned as soon as the skeleton was created. The monthly headings are not followed by actual listings of storms. Actual information is found in articles by years and basins, so that this level of information, by year, is not needed, and is not being maintained.
