Assuming you're affiliated with the Murrow Center, you should read WP:COI if you haven't already, and be pretty careful in following those guidelines when editing about the Center. I also want to welcome you. Sorry you got off to such a rough start. However, being rude to the admins who dealt with your username and your block is probably not the right way to start. You should probably read WP:CORPNAME to understand why they did what they did - which was correct.

First of all, you would do well to tone done the inflammatory rhetoric, such as that on my talkpage. Secondly, Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously; we don't mess around with that, and if the removed content was the only content it would have been deleted as a copyright violation. It was copied and pasted directly from the website, which is not allowed. I'm not the greatest expert on copyright (that would be User:Moonriddengirl), but I'd rather err on the side of caution. If it was a mistake, that's fine with me, but I'd rather be castigated for that then not removing something that later turned out to be a copyright violation.
